Rio Beach 7' Beach Umbrella with Integrated Sand Anchor, Multi Stripe

I took this umbrella to the beach last week. The best features are the sand anchor and size (for maximum shade). It felt well-made and I expect it will last for a number of future beach trips. It wasn't overly heavy given its size and quality materials. We didn't experience heavy winds, but I think it would withstand the wind fairly well because of the sand anchor. Also, at under $30 it is reasonably priced. Our friends threw away their $15 umbrella and ordered this one before we headed home. The only negative is that it lacks a carrying case. That was OK because we put it in a wagon anyways. But it'd be nice for storage. I'd order this again.

The first time we used it, a plastic piece inside the tilt feature broke. It was a windy day, so the top just flopped back and forth, so we couldn’t use it. We used electrical tape the next day, and it held nicely despite the wind. It was plenty of coverage for 2-3 people. I wish the tilt feature hadn’t broken, which is why I rated it lower, but it was very inexpensive.

This umbrella is great. Reasonably priced. The screw on the bottom and the indicator of how deep to go make it super easy. Did fine in mild wind - I think it got up to 10mph that one day and it didn’t even flinch. Perfect for one person - could squeeze 2 people.

Umbrella was fine but I found same one at local warehouse store for fraction of price so I returned this one to amazon .

Bought this for our summer vacation. It drives into the sand very easily with the corkscrew bottom and fold out handles. The tilt is nice to maintain shade for baby naps as the angle of the sun changes. The colors are pretty and I like the decorative scalloped edges of the fabric. It stands out enough from the other umbrellas to make it easy to spot from the water. It is light weight and easy to assemble. The storage bag could be better. I don’t anticipate it lasting terribly long, but that’s not a huge deal for me.

Pretty flimsy in beach with wind

We have had an umbrella like this for 5 plus years, and it has held up well, so we purchased this one as well; same style just different colors. Love the sand anchor and the umbrella holds up well in wind. Downside is the carrying bag, which is cheap plastic and won't last, so we reinforce the carrying bag with duct tape.

We used our lovely umbrella when we were boating and had lunch on the beach. Stored well in the boat, and was amazing. Sturdy, easy to use and lots of shade. Love the colours

The umbrella arrived in excellent condition, is easy to use and significantly cuts the heat of the sun on a hot day.

Excellent quality! Would definitely recommend. It is easy to set up and is sturdy. All my friends who were at the beach with us are going to order one too.
