Amazing for Call Center work
I work at a call center and was using my SHOKZ Open Runs headphones as my headset. They are so light weight I forgot I’m wearing them and helped when working by reducing headaches. However, with the Open Runs my agents and customers were able to hear EVERYTHING going on around me clear as day. So I looked up to see if SHOKZ had an actual communication set. I looked it up and found these. They are just as lightweight and comfortable as the Open Runs. They fit over my ears well and I forgot I’m wearing them sometimes. I got the one with the C-Dongle. When I step outside of the range of the dongle it disconnects and as soon as I’m back in range it automatically reconnects. Way better than the Bluetooth I was using. The sound is great. Pretty crystal clear. The buttons on the side turns the volume up and down easily. The mic focuses on your voice. I have asked my agents and they all said the background noise is more mute now compared to when I was using the Open Runs. They hear me much more clearly. The mute button I was excited about because I didn’t have that before. So much nicer than having to manually mute my mic. They hold a good charge. I got them at 5am with an overnight ship over a month ago. My husband plugged them in when they arrived and I took them to work at 7am. Lasted me all day on just that little charge. Haven’t had any issues since getting them with battery power. They last my whole 8 hour shift and then some. They do look a little big, especially with the mic (which was one thing I was worried about) but once it’s on your forgot it’s there. The range I’ve found is I think about 200ft or so before it disconnnects but definitely depends on if there are walls or anything in the way. My office has an open concept with lowered cubicles instead of high walls and I can walk all along the floor and stay connected, but at home, if I go into a certain room or down the hall the connection gets choppy or disconnects. (But with the dongle is reconnects instantly). Overall, I really love this headset for what I do. I have to wear these 40+ hours a week and I will never wear any other headset after getting these! They are pricey but definitely worth the money.

Absolutely essential if you're making a lot of phone calls or AI dictation
Frankly, I don't have any idea why I didn't buy this years earlier. So convenient to dictate your computer and for any phone calls. You put it on, you forget completely it's there, and the battery lasts so long. And every human or AI understands you always perfectly, and you hear them with your two ears. Very good quality, very good fit. It was just a tiny bit tricky to connect it at the same time in Bluetooth to both my computer and my iPhone. For some reason, the multi-device mode didn't work at the beginning or was not activated, but with the help of GPT-5-thinking I could finally find the buttons sequence to activate it. And now it seamlessly connect to both of my devices whenever I dictate/hear anything to/from one of them.

Exceptional Quality and User-Friendly Design.
I invested in the SHOKZ OpenComm2 open-ear wireless computer headset, complete with a boom mic and USB dongle, and it has proven to be a game-changer. This product stands out for its exceptional quality and ease of use. Just plug it into your computer’s USB-C or USB-A port, and you’re instantly set for meetings, videos, music, or conference calls—eliminating any frustration with Bluetooth connectivity issues. The microphone works seamlessly; lift it to mute and lower it to talk, ensuring you’re heard clearly every time. What’s more, it’s compatible with your phone and any Bluetooth-enabled devices, making it versatile for all your communication needs. The headset features bone conduction technology, providing ultimate comfort while keeping you aware of your surroundings, all without sacrificing sound quality. Be sure to check your computer's port—whether USB-A (larger) or USB-C (smaller)—and choose the version with the correct dongle for optimal convenience.

If situational awareness matters, it's the best.
It's either going to be your favorite or not. If you like not having something in your ears, able to hear what's around you, need super crisp voice - this is for you and will be favorite. Light weight (for size), great holding case, long battery life, great mic, and best of all you hear everything while still being able to have situation awareness. If that last bit is important to you, you can not do better. I have had earbuds, in ear, over ear, headphones, single ear and nothing does better. Closest is headphones but you have to deal with the weight and loss of situational awareness.

Amazing!
I love this headset! It’s so different than anything else I’ve ever used BUT I’m super grateful I took my coworkers advice and bought them. These are SO weightless and I love how they hook around my ears and sit outside of the ear canal! No more sore ears behind them or in them, I feel SO spoiled lol. I work remotely for a call center and this was 100% the right move, no more fighting with cords and making sure adjustments are just so. This has an impressive battery life and clarity that I love. And I can get up and move around if needed on a call. I waited for prime days and got these for $150 instead of $200. So worth it! Shokz are SO ahead of their time!

Pretty Good Headset for Work
This is a great headset to use for digital phones (such as phones through your computer). My company's phone system is through Zoom. I also use this headset for web meetings, online training courses, webinars, and phone calls. I use this headset heavily and for multiple hours each work day. . . sometimes for a full 8+ hours. Pros: Charges very fast Battery life is good and lasts for 8+ hours of use Lightweight on the head (forget it's on) Open ear design means I don't have to take my headset off when not using it. I leave it on all day. Sound is pretty good for calls and web meetings, etc. Others have verified the sounds is good on their end, too. Noise cancelling works pretty well. Cons: Sometimes my temples get sore just from the headset sitting there over long periods of time (The headset gently 'squeezes' your head to stay on) The audio is good. . . but not as good as my personal AfterShokz headset that I use for running / working out even though it was more expensive. Sometimes the audio volume level seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes when I turn on the headset, the volume on my phone is way too low or way too high and I seem to have to adjust the volume pretty frequently. I have not yet used this headset via bluetooth with my computer of phone. It does have multi-pairing functionality, though. I use this headset with the USB-C dongle plugged into my computer. In general, I do like the headset especially because I don't like traditional headsets that go on top of your head. It works well, pretty consistently (plug and play), and lasts a long time. It is lightweight on the head so I can wear it all day.

Open Comm 2
Great for voice calls, anything spoken word like podcast's etc...Execllent noise canceling microphone so that your voice is heard clearly with minimal background noise. Comforatble to wear and will stay on your head unlike the Open Meet. Lightweight. Nothing over your ears or in your ears. No more ear fatigue. Battery last all day. Great for working in a call center environment or for working from home if you need a good comfortable 8 hour a day headset then the Shokz OpenComm2 is your solid choice. Better than Open Meet in my opinion when it comes to comfort and these not slipping off of your head. I did not buy these to use for music I have multiple sets of audiophile quality headphones and in ear monitors for music listening. I did not expect these to sound good with music at all but was a little surprised when I did test them with music and they weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I have to say I am reall impressed by the call quality and the fact that they are so light weight ou hardly notice them. The Open Comm 2 has become my go to headset at my home office for teams meetings, zoom meetings, making or taking calls the Open Comm are hard to beat. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for as they say. If you are a truck driver, work from home or work in a call center you should take a look at the Open Comm 2.

Personal Review - Tried it for PC Gaming
I got these as an alternative to using over the head headphones and in ear earbuds. I’m a glasses user and using headphones for a extended period of time got too uncomfortable to the point that it would put too much pressure on my glasses, causing an indent to form behind my ear and sometimes a headache. Earbuds just simply don’t ever fit my ears. They never stay, constantly getting loose and falling out. I wanted to try these Shokz OpenComm2 as an alternative, hoping to see if it would solve any of my headphone problems. It coming with an attached microphone sounded like a plus, so I was excited to not have to have a separate mic on the side. The fit was comfortable, the band that holds it together is not though. I have a smaller than average head, so I can physically feel the floaty-ness of it; the band would also constantly bump into whatever is behind my head (back of chair or jacket hoodie), so it’ll end up in an uncomfortable position for where the bone conduction happens. The plus side to the fit though is that it’s very glasses friendly and doesn’t interfere with the frame/arms. The audio is fine though, it’s not as good as the Shokz OpenFit2 since it lacks quite a bit of bass. The big issue with audio though is when the microphone is activated for use on a computer desktop. Microphone via bluetooth changes the output to a mic audio which causes the audio quality to go down very badly… it’s like static crinkles and nothing sounds good at all. There’s no other way around it if you want to use the microphone and have good audio at the same time on desktop. Disabling the mic fixes the audio issue but I want to be able to use the microphone. The change in audio quality was too unbearable for me, so I ended up returning the product since the microphone would’ve been of no use to me. I really didn’t mind being able to hear outside of the headphones, and the way it sat on my ears were fairly comfortable. I think this product is very much for those who only care about using it for communication in a business setting. It was a good base for me to find an alternative to using other headphones and earbuds for PC Gaming though, I will admit. So personally for me, I give this product 3 stars. It’s not terrible, it does what the demographic of it is aimed for just fine. But something about the audio when using the microphone just didn’t sit right with me.

Problemet är verifierat av flertal användare: Multiple users have reported this exact issue with the OpenComm2: an initial ~0.5s audio glitch/scraping or delay when sound starts playing. The problem persists even with the Loop110 dongle, which should ensure a stable connection. OpenComm2 seems to drop or delay A2DP activation more aggressively than OpenComm1, likely due to: -Updated cVc (Clear Voice Capture) behavior. -More aggressive power-saving/sleep logic in firmware. Kan därför inte rekommendera detta headset. Det är defekt tills Shokz släpper en ny firmware som hanterar detta. Trist för annars är det ett klockrent headset - bortsätt från att den nya mikrofonen konstant går emot kinden...
