I purchased this luggage set during the October Prime Day sale at a significant discount. The larger suitcase is very spacious and can hold an impressive amount—over 20 pairs of jeans along with 3 coats and 5 hoodies. The smaller suitcase is an ideal size for a week-long business trip. While some bags marketed as “carry-on” end up being oversized at the airport, this one truly meets carry-on requirements. I had no issues bringing it on board with Alaska and United, and I expect it will be acceptable with most other airlines as well. Regarding scratch resistance, it is not completely scratch-proof when checked, but no hard-shell luggage truly is unless carried on. For me, its level of durability is perfectly acceptable. Both suitcases are easy to use once the lock is set for the first time. I do not prioritize aesthetics as long as the luggage performs well, and in that respect, I appreciate the simple and functional design. The only drawback is that the smaller suitcase does not include a built-in lock. Although it is designed for carry-on use, there may be occasions when it needs to be checked, in which case additional security would be beneficial. I purchased a separate lock to address this. It would be an improvement if Samsonite included a lock on the smaller suitcase as well.

Bought as a wedding gift. Couple loved it. Durable, great storage capacity, and most importantly for them was the smooth ride in busy airports

It's been about 14 months since purchase and I have used on 3 trips. The zippers are close to useless. The zipper developed damage (see pic) - On my last flight the zipper had completely opened and only the lock was keeping anything inside along with the internal compartments that I had zipped. Never again. Samsonite was brand I had bought in the past, quality is dropped. USE A GOOD QUALITY ZIPPER, its crucial to the functioning of the suitcase.

This set of luggage is perfection. I'm not kidding. I searched and searched for a set that has the zipper closure on both sides. This is the only one I could find. And it's Samsonite. Can't beat it! Light weight and the rollers are excellent. I bought the silver set a few years ago and just bought thks black set on sale. Get it!

Disappointed by item received which look cheap for a samsonite brand. Furthermore be aware that carrying on luggage do not have tsa lock.

I’ve thought Samsonite was a trusted brand and was utterly disappointed at this purchase (managed to apply to return this order). Doubt I’ll get Samsonite luggages again.
