Will you be selling the iPhone version?

Good Afternoon Yes, we do ordinarily stock the IOS (Iphone) version of the Echo Meter. When we are out of stock, as we are at the moment, the listing is removed from Amazon temporarily. Do you need an ap on your pc to playback records downloaded to pc, does pc file retain date time gps and id data?

Thanks for your question. You do not need an app on your computer to listen to recorded calls. Calls are stored as WAV files that can be easily played on a computer. If you have built-in or Bluetooth GPS on your phone/tablet, then all the recordings will be tagged with their location and the path will be recorded from each recording session. The path and locations are also exported with recordings in KML format and can be opened in Google Earth.

Does it work with a Galaxy A50 ?

Yes it Works with a Galaxy A50. But you will need a Micro USB to USB C adapter to use it as the Samsung Galaxy A50 has a USB C slot.

Do I need an active sim card in the phone in order for it to work?

You shouldn't do. I use my EMT primarily with a tablet which doesn't have a SIM. The only time I tether it to my phone is when using the detector on transects as it then logs GPS data
