Metra Electronics 95-8152 Radio Replacement Dash Kit fits Lexus GS Series 1998-2005

Color of bezel is a different black than the car but thats okay. Screws fit in perfectly. Good fit for a 99 gs300. I would prefer metal brackets like the factory ones but this comes with plastic ones which works. All in all would recommend for a 6.95 or 7” head unit. Mine is single din with a double din screen which works perfectly with this.

The double DIN trim doesn't fit in a 2000 ES300 , but if you cut the top and bottom off ( simple sharp blade does trick), you can then use to attach to existing factory metal cage for radio and climate. Just be warned you need to buy longer screws, but a quick trip to Home depot (M5 0.8 I believe was the size machined screws worked, ). Not an exact fit, small gaps between trim and factory console, but over it works.

Inexpensive and effective. Installation is easy but be careful with the bracketry, as the parts are flimsy plastic. Overtightening the chassis screws and bolts can easily break tabs if you tighten them too much. The plastic surrounding the radio is a slightly different shade and texture, which may bother some people but, doesn't bother me. Overall, I'm very satisfied considering it was under $20.

It’s says that this fits a 1999 Lexus ES 300. It doesn’t fit at all.

Fit my 2001 GS 430 Perfectly! I bought mine to mount a Galaxy 7 inch tablet as an in dash stereo. I had to modify the plastic housing a bit with my dremel tool to get it to fit, but was expecting that. It completely replaces the metal parts that hold the existing stereo and the AC module. All the holes lines up perfect too. Overall a very nice kit.

I’m giving it 3 stars only because the description was a little off to me because I ordered it cause it stated that the kit was for use with single din and double din as if they had both in the kit and it says it comes with a pocket with the single din. I don’t know what they were meaning but, this is NOT for a single din aftermarket stereo. There is another one on here for the single din. Probably is a fine kit for the double din head unit applications tho. Thanks

Fit my 1998 Lexus GS400. Note: It won’t sit 100% flush (maybe about ~95%-ish), but I’m satisfied since it’s not that noticeable.

Made for a GS but still fits just fine on my Toyota Aristo (right hand drive model). The way it fits and mounts is a bit cheap and flimsy especially due to using its own plastic brackets to hold both the deck and the climate control panel rather than the original metal bracket, but it gets the job done.
