ALFAY DESIGNS Mighty Mug (Red)

Great design and perfect for my use. I needed a mug which I could use near my computer. I had recently knocked a cup into my computer and ended up having to replace a six-week old computer! My new Mighty Mug solved my problem as I know can keep my mug near my electronic stuff and know it will not tip over. Great mug for a great cup of coffee.

Ordered it despite some concerns regarding other reviews that it might not work. It came today and I tested out immediately. It stuck to the counter perfectly and didn't fall over when I tried to knock it over. However on my wooden table it didn't stick at all and. And on my dresser (imitation wood) and other table (covered in a wood sealant) it only stuck when I applied force to the top, but once I did that it didn't knock over. My only two concerns are one, the suction cup protection was on the open end of the cup where you drink out of, not the suction cup itself, which makes me worry about the assembly process where it was produced, and if it could affect the mug now or later on. My second concern it, as dear as I'm aware, no where in the description on Amazon does it state as it does in the warranty, "Mighty Mug will grip to any NON-POROUS flat surface (i.e. most desks)." I really feel they should advertise this in the description.

Read the instructions before use. Remove the hard plastic cover on the base then flip and flick the rubber to make it stick. There are also important washing instructions. This cup stuck to some surfaces out of the box but after a few hours of use refuses to stick to anything. I'm not happy. I decided to put it in the trash. It just won't stick even to a smooth granite surface. I saw this advertised on 'I Want That' but it doesn't work as it should.

The suction bottom did work very well, considering I use it in lecture classes when the desks are slanted instead of flat, and it always stayed right in place. However, I do wish it had an opening you could slide and twist to lock, making it travel-ready. I would walk ten feet and already have little dribbles down the side, if not just a typhoon of hot coffee spewing out of the top.

Poor Product - Unfortunately for me this product does not adhere to any surface as advertised. And the red portion of the mug twists back and forth. I had high hopes due to another one I saw, but this one will be going back.

This works great. When you 1st get it, it's a little hard to suction. But as time goes on and it gets "broke in" it works better and better. I dropped the one I had before and broke the handle. I bought 2 of these this time. This is the only coffee cup I use.

I have arthritic hands and am clumsy with them. This mug won't let me tip it over! Yet it lifts gracefully when you lift straight up with the handle. It has great capacity - 12+ oz, and it saves me time cleaning up "accidents"! It is a reasonable height, like a ceramic mug, not tall and skinny like most travel mugs, so it is less of a "target" when you are reaching across the table or counter for something. Great colors too. Now the only reasons I didn't give it a 5 - first, you have to separate the base and the black cup to wash them, and I needed pliers to do so. Seriously. Second, the base can not go in the dishwasher (the cup can). My husband doesn't remember this. Last but not a big deal for me as I have others - it is not a travel mug. The base won't fit in the cupholders in the car. But again, it is otherwise exactly what I was looking for, so that I don't have to clean up a mess when I'm in a hurry to get to work! This is great for anyone who, for whatever reason, tends to tip over their cup!

I'm kind of a geek. I had been looking for a new coffee mug and came across this model. I ordered it and received it today. The product works as advertised. I recommend this coffee mug to anyone who drinks coffee, especially at a desk and around computers.
