Works great, especially for high flow nozzles and printing. I like that the heater surrounds the nozzle for better and faster heating. Installation was a breeze, just be careful taking the connectors out for the old hotend. They are glued in and it's a pain to remove them. I used a tiny flathead screw driver to scrape off most of the glue then they just popped right out like you would expect. I did not bother gluing them again as the connectors are plenty secure enough without it. The wires coming out of the heater on the hotend are very stiff but you can safely bend them slightly so that they are not sticking out of the hot end at a 90 degree angle. If you want to use the Microswiss flowtech nozzles then this is a mandatory upgrade (along with the nozzles), but it's definitely worth it. I'd buy it again.

A must have upgrade for these printers. The factory nozzle change is too complicated, with needing to unclip / unglue the heater. Now its a one handed job. I use their hotends and nozzles on everything.

Since this seems like one of the best direct upgrades over the stock hotend I decided to go this route along with many others but since doing so I have been battling clog after clog on higher temp filaments (anything above 245). I'm still using the stock nozzle, haven't done anything special to the settings except for some quick filament tuning. Try to reach out to the seller and get blocked by amazon "support" that say oh it's damaged just return it... yeah not helpful when I'm in the middle of printing for current projects.

I've had my Sovol SV08 for a few months now, and after dealing with some inconsistent prints from the stock hotend—especially with PETG and higher flow rates—I decided to give the Micro Swiss FlowTech upgrade a shot. Installation was a breeze; it's truly plug-and-play, no need to mess with wiring or offsets, and it kept my Z-height spot on. Right out of the box, the all-metal design feels premium, and the cold nozzle swaps are a game-changer—no more waiting for cooldowns or risking burns. I've pushed it on a bunch of PLA and ABS projects, and the high flow rate has let me crank up speeds without sacrificing quality or getting clogs. Prints come out smoother and more consistent than before, with way less stringing. The leakproof setup has saved me from cleanup headaches too. My only small nitpick is that it runs a touch hotter than expected on the default settings, so I had to tweak the PID a bit for optimal temps, but that's quick to sort out in the slicer. For the price and the Made-in-USA build, it's a solid upgrade that punches above its weight. If you're tweaking your SV08 for better reliability, this is worth it. 4.8 stars.

The Mricroswiss hotend has transformed my SV08. Easy to swap nozzles. No longer having jamming and heat creep issues. Easy to swap nozzles. I have about 200 hours of use so far without any major issues. The one downer is the sock. It's too thin and breaks easily. I printed a ASA jacket around it. The ASA does soften during printing, but seems to be OK so far.

This is a must upgrade for the SV08 if you plan to use PETG or anything besides PLA the stock nozzle on the SV08 will get pushed out at higher temps its a pressed fit nozzle un like Micro Swiss its a screw in nozzle I highly recommend it I am able to print faster and better with it For best results re calibrate Z offset and flow

Amazing change to sovol sv08. I wasn't sure about the change after constant blockages and useless nozzles from blockages. I tried another hotend upgrade but never managed much better. Since I've changed over to Flowtech hotend I can print again!! Finishing my first large print( 27hrs) ,no issues yet. No blockages and smooth flow, hotend copes well with the speed too.
