One that finally works as promised!
I've had several robot vacuums and mops over the years. Neatos, Roborocks, Dreames (last one was a Dreame L20). This is the first one that actually seems to work as promised! I live in the country, have 2 dogs that shed A LOT (white German Shepherd; could make a new dog from his shedding every couple days). And 6 cats. Between the shedding and dirt tracked in, keeping the place decently clean is a big issue. We have a 1 1/2 story, about 2300 SF combined, nearly all hard surface. A couple small area rugs. Setup was pretty minimal. Snap the rotating brushes in place, remove the packaging, fill the water tanks and it's good to go. App setup and connectivity were great. I've had to mess with others a bit, they didn't always find and connect to the router on the first try-this did. It did a quick software download and update and was good to go. Also worth mentioning is that moving the base didn't mess up the mapping-it recognized the new location and went to work. (I moved it due to the loudness of the dust-bin emptying-mentioned below). The mapping cycle is very good-it's quick, just a quick pop in each room and it's done, took maybe 15 minutes. Every other vacuum I've tried has had a major design issue. They don't return to the base to empty the dust bin often enough (with our hair collection). The dust bin get packed full, of course can't pick up any longer and just pushes dirt around. The hair packs so hard it's like felt-and the base can't empty that. Ones I've had don't let you adjust that. This one does! I ordered ours after our Dreame crapped out-so it was nearly a week before it was here. I deliberately minimized cleaning-to give it a robust test. And it passed with flying colors! Set the "return to base to empty" to the lowest setting and let it go. Worked perfectly, returned to the base every time and emptied completely. Yes, the emptying cycle is a little loud-but to me that's an effect of a very strong suction in the base-it empties the dust bin and sucks out the filter very well. Something that can't be said for some brands. Mopping-just as everyone else says-works VERY well. My Dreame just smeared the dirt around (in spite of how much was in the dirty water reservoir every time!). Always left little muddy round tracks on the floor. The water tanks are much smaller than the Dreame, probably 1/3-1/2 the size. But it uses so much less water that it's not an issue-lasts just as long before you need to fill/empty the tanks. Another observation-the ozone generator seems to make a difference. The dirty water reservoir in the Dreame stunk bad, even emptied every 1-2 days. Really bad. This one, I don't notice a smell, or at least I haven't yet. VERY nice-though not a critical consideration. Only minor complaint is that the fill port on the clean water tank is small, you have to be careful filling, either hold it, or make sure it's sitting in your sink where the water stream hits the port. Would be nice if the whole top flipped up, like the dirty water tank. But a very small annoyance. Another observation vs the Dreame. It would very rarely dock properly-it would try to climb the ramp to dock and the wheels would spin, causing the vacuum to get tilted and miss the docking/charging ports. In addition, the mop pads left a lot of dirt and hair on the ramp, contributing to the above problem. Between this issue and the above mentioned dust bin issue, I couldn't let it run "auto" on the whole house. Had to do a room at a time and hope for the best. The Eufy has been perfect-vacuumed/mopped exactly where the mapping says it should, has never NOT completed a cycle and docks perfectly. I mentioned how the Dreame left dirt/hair on the ramp. This one doesn't seem to do that. The roller retracts up into the unit and doesn't drag it's way up the ramp. The only place that gets a little nasty is the little tray where the mop pad is cleaned-but it lifts out and is simple to clean. Very nice design-and far easier to clean that the mop-pad washing area of the Dreame or any others with rotating pads. The roller is a game changer. What else? Vacuuming is VERY good. My Dream left little trails of dirt at every threshold and transition to a carpet-this doesn't. And it doesn't leave little piles when it starts climbing the ramp on the the dock. This one also picks up kitty litter specs, unlike the Dreame. That would leave a lot-and when they got on the wet mob pads, that clay would turn to mud and smear. Not here-nothing but a clean, streak free floor left. You can really tell the difference barefoot-no little specs of dirt, no stickiness. Lets talk edge/corner cleaning. I find the vacuuming/dry cleaning to be the best I've seen on any vacuum. The dual brushes seem to help and also make the cleaning process quicker. Since the unit is more squared off, the brushes are mounted towards the corners and extend out well past the body of the unit. The round ones stick out past the diameter-but since they are towards the front of the unit, they don't really get past the OD path at the widest part. Not explaining that well, but hopefully you get the idea. Most of the round ones do a little shuffle along the edge (unless they have an extended brush arm) to try to address this-the Eufy can just truck along straight. A few other observations. The transparent clean water tank is nice-you can see the water level without opening a cover and removing the tank to check it. The tanks are mounted fairly high, so you don't have to bend over as much to change them. And as mentioned they are smaller-and LIGHTER. Another point-the dust bag on the Dreame and some others mount low on the unit. You have to pull off a panel on the front towards the floor. A bit of a pain. I usually had to get on the floor to slide the bag into place, you can't really see the mounting rails standing up. This one mounts vertically and is much more accessible, you can see the mounting rails from above. One thing I haven't checked out-the Dreame had a filter in the back of the compartment where the bag goes. A fair amount of dirt bypasses the bag and plugs that filter-it is a pain to clean-in part because you need to lay on the floor to see it. I need to check on the Eufy and see if it has a similar filter-will do so and update. So-complaints? Not much really. The above mentioned small fill port. It would be nice to have larger water tanks-but again, not a big deal concerning how little it uses-and the small tanks are lighter. Would be nice to mop all the way to the edge-my Dreame did have the mop extend. But then-it's cleaning was pretty marginal, so it didn't help much. This is a very fair tradeoff. This is also a simpler mechanism and should be less failure prone. Now-my one real complaint? The price of the Eufy cleaning solution. $26 on Amazon for that little bottle. Kind of ridiculous. But that's it. I'm an engineer, and having owned several robot vacuums/mops, am pretty critical of design and performance issues. This is by far the best I've used. I recommend it (but be sure to get it on sale for $1,000, don't pay the $1500). It's amazing how far the industry has come and how much better products have gotten in the last 10 years or so. I'm sure that will continue!

Insane dirt pickup on mopping
WHAT. I run my other robot mop DAILY. Sometimes more than that in a day. I still have the water from it cleaning yesterday (image 1) I ran the eufy for the first time today and this is the water?! (Image 2) what has my mop been doing? It is just as expensive as a mop but uses the spinning mop pads. I did not expect the roller pressure and cleaning the roller as it goes to make this drastic of a difference. I will see how maintaining it is and will update when I know. OTHER MOP (my last one) Shreds its own mop pads when it cleans them in the base station Has ran over pet poop more times than I can count despite that was their #1 selling point at the time It uses the entire container of water with one clean I will update if there’s any similar complaints will this S1 pro! OCT 30 Well it’s been only a few days since we got it and my dog really has it out for this thing. Unfortunately if your lights are off. Its poop recognition isn’t great understandably. It was surprisingly a lot easier to clean after the disaster than I expected and have experienced with other robots. I think either the vacuum or the mop handled the majority. Yikes. But there wasn’t really any traces besides in the wheels which are unfortunately just as hard to clean as others. It is way better at avoiding hitting things than our previous ones, and some how way better at picking up debris with the vacuum than our previous one with lower suction. It’s went over crazy amounts of crumbs and had no problem. It is EXTREMELY nice that when clean water is poured in the part it pours its dirty water, that the pump turns on. Meaning I can clean out the lines with water very easily. The parts on this vacuum come apart to clean so well that I feel I can actually properly clean it. Not like there’s Internal parts that I can’t access that will build up dirt over time. The only thing you can’t access is the clean water tank which should never get dirty anyways I will continue to update as I learn more Nov 1 This thing is still picking up dirt off our floor. We have not reached clear water like we have with my old robot yet

Terrible Support- Powerful on Paper, Disappointing in Real Use
The eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro looks impressive on paper, but real-world performance doesn’t live up to the claims. While the suction is advertised as powerful and does a decent job on hard floors like the kitchen, it does not perform well on carpet. After running it, I still had to use my Shark vacuum, which immediately picked up dirt the robot missed. The suction simply isn’t strong enough for carpets. It also struggles with corners and edges, leaving noticeable debris behind. Yes, it has good sensitivity, obstacle avoidance, and scheduling features. Setup is fairly easy, WiFi connectivity is stable, and the unit fits nicely under furniture. But cleaning performance — the main reason to buy it — is inconsistent. What truly ruins the experience is eufy’s customer support, which is extremely frustrating and ineffective. I honestly don’t know if they’re using Google Translate or just not reading messages. I sent them everything: detailed descriptions of the issues, troubleshooting steps already completed, serial numbers, firmware versions, and logs. Despite this, they repeatedly ask the same questions and tell me to do the exact steps I already explained I had done. There’s no real troubleshooting, no escalation, and no understanding of the problem. Responses feel copy-pasted and robotic. For a premium-priced product, this level of support is unacceptable. In short, it cleans hard floors reasonably well but fails on carpets, misses corners, and is backed by some of the worst customer support I’ve experienced. I regret this purchase.

Seamless Support and a Fantastic Robot Vacuum – Love My Eufy S1 Pro!
I am absolutely thrilled with my Eufy S1 Pro! What impressed me the most was their incredible automatic response system built right into the app. On April 9, when I encountered an issue (E76 error where the vacuum wouldn’t return to the base), I immediately received a detailed automated email with clear troubleshooting steps. I followed them and replied back, and almost instantly Nicole from support responded with a prepaid shipping label for a replacement—no need to call or explain anything further. The entire process was seamless and hassle-free. After just a couple of follow-up emails on my part, I received a brand new replacement unit on the ninth day. This level of customer care is outstanding and shows how much Eufy values their customers. The vacuum itself is fantastic—powerful suction, smart mapping, and the UniClean station that automatically empties, washes, and refills the mop is a game changer. I highly recommend the Eufy S1 Pro for anyone looking for a premium, reliable robot vacuum with top-notch customer support! Lastly to all future buyers, here’s a helpful tip I learned during setup: always remove the water tank before flipping the unit over for maintenance or cleaning. The app gave me this warning when I received my replacement, and it’s also mentioned in the official user guide—removing the water tank first helps prevent spills or potential damage to the vacuum. This small step will help keep your S1 Pro running smoothly!
