Under Armour's Brand mission is to make all athletes better through passion, science and the relentless pursuit of innovation. Today's athlete demands a sock that not only represents the look and feel of the Brand, but that simultaneously provides useful, technical attributes bridging the gap between style and functionality. Review: Started out great but then - Started out great but then......... I washed them. I wore 3 pair of these when I got them and loved them. I have had Under Armour socks in the past and they lasted a long time and were comfortable. So I had 3 pair of these socks that needed washed, the other 3 I had not worn, I washed and dried them and 3 out of the 6 individual socks were coming unraveled, primarily on the heel of the sock. This was very disappointing, as they were very comfortable while wearing them, but I did not want to keep them if they weren't going to last. I expected a lot more from the Under Armour brand, especially with the price you pay for them. I did not wash or dry them with any type of velcro or anything that should have caused this, just normal clothes. Review: Toenails like knives I guess - I have been wearing these socks for years and just now felt compelled to write about them. The construction of the socks changed a couple of years back. Before the change, even though they were comfortable and did a decent job keeping my feet dry on 8-12 mile runs, they stretched out after many uses. When UA changed the construction, I was at first happy about the change because they didn't stretch out. But the socks tend to wear out rather quickly. I say this because my big toenails grow oddly from all the running and even when they are trimmed and filed as short as they can go, some of the socks get a hole in the toe after a month of use. I like the socks otherwise, but I'm switching to another brand for now.

Questionable Quality
Have bought these for my husband and sons the last few years, but have found after several wears and washings these don't hold up. Major issue with these socks are that the heels wear out quickly and they loose there shape. I save the non-hole socks so I alway can create a pair of wearable socks. I will be ordering several different brands to see how they hold up to wear and washing to compare.

Not Recommended
I bought these for my husband who golfs quite a bit. He owns quite a few Under Armour items and I thought I would try these since his FootJoy socks are so expensive. 3 of the 6 pair I bought did not make it through one round of golf. They got holes in the toes. (He does walk the course, but other brands have not shown this kind of wear within one time out) Would not recommend if you plan on buying for an active person. Back to buying the more expensive but lasting footjoys.

Holes holes holes
Great feeling socks. I'm a 9.5 and the mediums fit perfectly. So perfectly, in fact, that they show me how ill-fitting most other socks are (too big). HOWEVER, I can get about 2 uses out of the socks before there's a hole in the toe. And yes, I keep my nails neatly trimmed. These are basically disposable socks.

High Tech Comes to Socks
This is my second batch of these socks, so I obviously liked them enough that I bought more. This time I bough the white socks over the black socks. They are really comfortable to me, both in that they fit well and don't slip around, but also in the fact that the material of the sock is breathable and helps eliminate hot foot in the shoe, especially in the summer. They are thinner than your regular cotton sock, so if you use those, you might find your shoe size going down a bit. They are also a bit more structured - meaning more parts, which also means that they have more points of failure. This, with the thinner fabric, means that they are less durable. But for me, that is outweighed by the comfort. And I am usually the guy that buys a pair of socks and then wears them for years until my wife throws them away.

These are no where near "no show" and the quality appears to be a no show
I bought these because I had some UA no show socks that I've had for a good number of years and I wanted some more pairs. In buying these, I of course was thinking they would be the same, but I was wrong. They are no where near "no show" socks, like my old UA pairs. I swear, if I was wearing basketball shoes, they still wouldn't be no show. Plus the quality seems much worse. One star for poor quality and a VERY misleading title.
