It's super rough. I soaked it in water for several hours, but it's still very scratchy and hard on your skin. It might be okay for cleaning the bathtub, but definitely not your body! Would not recommend.

I really enjoyed this product at first because its a good size and makes me really feel like I am getting all that dirt and grime of the day off. It is nice for exfoliating on one side and is like a soft washcloth on the other giving you the best of both worlds. I will say though that mine got gross pretty quickly. After a couple of weeks I started noticing what looked like mold growing under the rough side and it have a continuous mildew smell. These are really great for exfoliation. Not something I'd use on my entire body because I have sensitive skin, but great for areas that have a lot of skin buildup. I've found them especially useful for my feet, tummy, and chest area.

So stiff that it hurts. After several wettings/washings; still too stiff for me. I may use it on shower doors to clean, but not on human skin!

Quality is good however they are not very soft at all, even when completely saturated they are not squishable whatsoever. Would be excellent if they were a bit softer, they are durable and good for times when vigorous scrubbing is necessary.

These natural loofah sponges are great. They come in a 3 pack. The back of the loofah has a loop for your hand to hold this sponge. The top also has a loop so it can be hung up. The natural sponge is rough enough to scrape any dead skin off. That how these are supposed to be. These are exfoliating scrubs. If it was not rough enough it wouldn't take the dead skin off good enough. This feel refreshing after the shower scrub and much different then a regular loofah. This is not fluffy after it gets wet. This is very similar to the feeling the sponge soaps feel. A good body scrub would go along with this well. Overall this is just a very good basic natural loofah. It is nothing special but just enough to do a good job. If you like natural loofahs these are a great value with 3 in the box for about the cost of a fast food lunch at the time of this review. I would recommend.

I use a natural loofah everyday and these are on par with previous purchases. The elastic handle is pretty standard, but I appreciate this brand has a large hanging hook that is actually usable. So many others only have a tiny loop out of ribbon that is fairly useless but this large loop is what I need. Also, it’s nice this loofah pack comes in a recyclable box instead of plastic. Texture. Natural loofah is a bit scratchier than the plastic style loofah, but you won’t be running around with dead skin either. I found mine to loosen up with time, so first week or two of showers, my skin might be a little pink where I scrubbed but eventually the fibers relax and it’s slightly gentler (but still exfoliating). I really like this loofah but a bit on the pricey side compared with similar items.
