I got tired of paying $20 (plus tip) for a basic men’s haircut, so I decided to give these clippers a try—and I’m glad I did. I used them the same day they arrived and was pleasantly surprised at how well my haircut turned out. I started with the highest guard and worked my way down to a #6, just to get a feel for them. Before this, I was using trimmers without guards, so I had to be really careful not to take off too much and end up with an uneven cut. These made the process much easier and more controlled. I took my time, and the results came out even all around. They’re also quiet while running and a good size for handling your own haircut, which made things more comfortable. I used to keep my hair short in the military—not super tight like a Marine, but neat and clean—and this got me right back to that look without feeling like I had a mop on top. Even if these only lasted a few cuts (which I doubt), I’d still feel like I got my money’s worth. The clippers come in a hard case, and everything fits inside nicely. The only downside is that the pieces are a bit loose in the case, so if you plan to travel with it, you may want to add some padding to keep everything in place.

I bought the Wahl Clipper model 79434 and it truly exceeded my expectations. The clipper is very powerful and cuts hair smoothly and evenly without pulling. I really like that it can be used both corded and cordless, which makes it very convenient to use anywhere. The battery lasts a long time and the different guide combs are very helpful for creating different styles for both hair and beard. It is also very easy to clean and feels durable and high quality. It’s perfect for haircuts at home and for keeping your beard well groomed without constantly going to the barbershop. It’s definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend it for its quality and value.

These clippers are great. They do the job easily with a very quiet hum. I used them on myself for the first time ever and I was a little nervous, but it was simple and my cut turned out fantastic. It has a nice feeling in your hand the attachments easily snap on and off leaving a perfect look of the finished cut. I like how the included a bunch of accessories to use for cleaning, etc... They say don't force the clippers through your hair. And since I have very thick hair, I didn't rush through, but it still cut my thick hair with no problem. I would highly recommend these to anyone who want to save a bunch of money by going to a hair cutting business.

Good quality clipper at a reasonable price. The scissors are junk and so is the storage container. My only complaint is that the charging light does not go our when it is fully charged, so you are either leaving it plugged in for too long or don't have any idea where the charge is at. Despite negatives, the clipper itself and the attachments are great.

Works great. Husband goes through a new clippers about every 8-10 years. Wanted to purchase a rechargeable one; but he said no. Like the fact that this is dual (electric corded; rechargeable battery). The positioning of handle was a bit different than his other one --- but once he got the hang of it; he likes it. Would purchase again. Wahl makes a great clippers for the $$$. This is his 4th or 5th one since we've been married (50 years)

My husband’s old set was dying, so this set was the replacement. Lots of different length clipper heads, works great on his beard, and as a detail trimmer when I cut his hair. Good quality. Pleased with purchase.

I have been happy with this Wahl clipper kit overall. The corded/cordless setup is a great feature because you can run it wirelessly for convenience or plug it in if the battery gets low instead of stopping halfway through a haircut looking like a failed military experiment. The clippers cut well, have enough power for thicker hair and beard trimming, and feel solid in the hand. I also like that the kit includes enough guards and accessories to handle different lengths without needing extra purchases right away. Battery life has been good, and the option to use it plugged in gives a little extra peace of mind. That matters more than people realize until they are halfway through grooming and suddenly negotiating with a blinking battery light. For home haircuts, beard maintenance, and general grooming, this is a solid kit. Reliable, versatile, and much cheaper than paying for endless trips to the barber for basic maintenance.

I like to shave my head even though I am female. I can't stand long hair in my face or on my neck. I looked at many and picked this clipper. It has so many attachments & seems like it will be very durable! I feel safe using it and being on blood thinners I can't cut myself but this worked great with the #3 attachment to remove all the hair that had grown too long over the last 8 months I hadn't had a chance to go get it cut. To me it is a good value for the money because now I can save $25 every 5-6 weeks not needing to go get a haircut we can now do it at home! I'll also do my other half too so he won't need to go to the barber anymore!

I like the hair clipper though not good with the sides guide... But I see some video of man using it with ease...

I don't often write reviews but these clippers are awesome. Have been using regularly for haircuts for 3 years and still work perfectly. Comes with every attachment you could need, battery life is great and blades stay sharp. Only minor nit is that it comes with a tiny vial of lubricating oil which has a tendency to leak once opened - keep the vial in a ziplock bag. Otherwise worth every penny.

It doesn't cut beard, it will rip off hair if used for beard. But it is good for hair
