Plano All-Weather Gun Case

was easy to customize , I was able to get my 6.5PRC and my 243WIN in the case. it was tight fit but worked out great. seems well built closes tightly and secure. great value in my opinion. padding seems to be able to keep them secure and safe from damage.

I have never checked firearms on an airplane, but I needed to move some firearms to a new location and none of the cases I already had really fit that need. This case is sturdy, has two locking latches, plus holes for four external locks. It fit the bill perfectly. The wheels made it easy to get through the airport, albeit the clanking sound of the wheels going every tile crack led me to carrying it for a while, they were perfect on smooth floors. The case comes with easy pluck foam, but I chose not to use it so I could use the case for all of my long guns and not just a specific one. Just two quick hints, not about the case, but about my experience traveling with firearms. First you do not need to buy locks that can be opened by TSA. I would suggest buying a padlock that is not accessible by a TSA key. Those keys have been stolen in the past and anybody who handles your luggage may have one. Secondly I threw an Apple tag in the case so I could keep my eye on the case the entire time. This put my mind at ease. Well at least until I arrived at baggage claim and saw my case was just on the other side of the wall from me for about 30 minutes before they actually brought it out for me to collect.

Great case, the pluck foam is a plus. I ordered another after seeing how well built it was. Perfect length, protection and size. Easy to carry and has wheels when needed.

If transporting 2 firearms, this case is durable, lockable and having wheels, easy to pull behind you. GREAT BUY

This thing feels like it is built like a tank. The handles, latches and wheels feel great. It is huge, heavy-ish, and sturdy. I think the price is very fair. However, the interior dimensions listed are very conservative and don't include the giant cutouts for the wheels or inches of foam padding in both length and width. I thought this should easily fit two <46" bolt action rifles with optics, but there's no way to safely fit them in here and have any padding left at all. There is just not enough width for two full-sized rifles to be safely Tetris'd together. This would be suitable for two carbines, one scoped bolt action with up to a 26" barrel (even in a chassis with DBM and mounted accessories, most likely), one 20" rifle with a mid-size suppressor mounted, or two folding-stock chassis guns... just not two longer rifles with traditional stocks, which is what I needed it for.

Very nice case for the money. The tear-out foam makes it easy to fit. Maybe not quite as sturdy as a Pelican case, but pretty close. It's slightly narrower than a Pelican V-800 which makes it fit in my vehicle better and it's a bit lighter. I followed the foam fitting directions by flipping it over and outlining my rifle. Removing foam within the outline gives a tight fit. My setup is 48" long and 11" high and was able to fit it with an inch to spare on each end. A longer piece wouldn't work unless you angled it. I suppose you could fit 2 smaller rifles in this, but probably not with optics attached. The case has no locks on the end. I'm not sure if this would be an issue if you're flying. The Pelican case does lock on both ends. It's been mentioned that this might be a security issue, but it seems that a determined thief would be able to pry either case open given the right tools. This case is much easier to wrestle in and out of a vehicle than the Pelican and does what I want it to. 5 stars.

Awesome case and a great price

Great case, had been looking into one of these for a few months, this just happened to be £100 cheaper than a brand new one form Plano and cheaper than a second hand ebay offering. Ordered and expected in 2 months, but arrived in about 2 weeks, massive box that didn't really hold it that well, a few scuffs on the box but nothing that it wouldn't get in use anyway. Excellent item and very pleased with it - should last a lifetime as great construction and catches and looks are robust.

Robustheit ist nicht besonders gut, da ich mehrere der Koffer bestellt habe und einer alleine den normalen Versand nicht überstanden hat (Rollen ausgebrochen, Hülle gebrochen).....da erwartet ich eigentlich mehr von einem Schutzkoffer!

This hard case has made life so, so, so much easier. I absolutely love it. The only issue is when it is on a non-flat surface it can be hard to close. Very hard. I recommend putting it on a flat surface to open and close it. In general though it is actually really weatherproof, I wouldn't go diving with it or anything but its been rained on for 8 hours and nothing got in. The foam wasn't damp either. I stack quite a bit of weight onto these 2, I have 2 by the way. That's how decent these cases are, I bought two of them. For airsoft, these are fantastic because you don't really need to lock the case away. But I'd be perfectly happy using these for real-steel too. In fact thinking on it a few times I have taken my ACR to the range with these, just swapping out my airsoft ACR for it worked fine. They're cheap enough you can afford to set 2-3 of these up for your rifles/pistols/anything really. I might buy the shorter one for gear. It is just so much easier being able to open something up and bam, access it. Keeps everything way cleaner, and when you do things like airsoft that is a huge benefit. Rifle bags you gotta rummage around for etc. These you just open up and bam. Done.

Excellent. This case oozes quality. Easily takes my AR with suppressor.

The gasket seal design is flawed , mine was not inserted correctly , so the seal was loose and it was pinched by the case and damaged . At this price range I would expect it to be glued in the slot . Otherwise it could have been a ok case .
