I am brand new to routing. I read all the directions, watched several videos, and practiced on scrap wood before beginning my project but still I broke the 1/8” straight bit almost immediately—I was not taking off too much material. My router was mounted in a table. I later realized that because that bit in particular is so thin, it probably needed extra care and perhaps it was not a good one for a novice to start with. I moved on to the 1/4” straight bit and then the Roman ogee with no problems. I do notice that after a relatively small project, they are not nearly as sharp as they were. This is a very nice assortment for me as a beginner. I had everything I needed for my first project. I also like the convenient wood case that they come in—for keeping them organized and they are all nicely labeled with the little picture to show what kind of cutting each bit will do. For a novice, I found that to be very helpful in choosing which bit to use for my project. I’ll have to find a replacement for the 1/8 inch bit that I broke, but otherwise, I am pretty pleased with these bits. My first project looks very professional. I did notice that since I purchased this set, the price has dropped from the $26.92 I paid to $19.95. I’d like the set even more if I had paid the lower price. These router bits are pretty good for the price. I've been using them on a few woodworking projects and they cut through wood like butter, no complaints there (except that one time i accidentally hit a nail - my fault). The set has all sorts of different shapes so you can do whatever you want to your wood. Chamfer, straight cuts, whatever. It comes in this nice blue case too which is handy for storage and keeping everything organized. The only thing I would say is that the bits feel a little light compared to some other ones I've used. But honestly, they work fine so who cares? They're compatible with all routers and do their job well enough. Plus, it comes with 15 pieces which is more than enough for most projects (I still need to try out the dovetail bit though). Overall, these router bits are a great value if you're looking to get into woodworking or just want some new tools to play around with.

I just had the opportunity to use a few of these router bits and they functioned perfectly. I'm new to routers, so my opinion may not carry much weight, but I had no issues or malfunctions. I'm satisfied. Update 10/07/2019. I had the opportunity to use these bits more extensively over the past few days and found that the straight/flush trim bits leave a lot to be desired. All the decorative edging bits work well enough but the straight/trim bits produce a lot of chip-outs and heat up fast, regardless of the speed. The 1/4" straight bit seems to be out-of-round and wobbles, which produces an oversize oblong slot. The others cut as if they are dull which makes it difficult to get acceptable results. They work but I'll be shopping for replacements soon.

If you're a cabinetmaker or a furniture maker of any degree I would stay away from these bits, however if you're a hobbyist and a weekend woodworker then these will fit the bill just fine. None of the bits came with chipped edges and all seemed fairly sharp and I use these in my small hand router. Some of the bits don't make sense in terms of their usage but most of them worked well. Some of the slot bits don't seem to cut nearly as well and took much longer time to draw through the material. The angle and round over bits work the best and that's the primary reason I got this. I'm unsure on the longevity of this set but it's good to at least get as a practice set if you've never worked with router bits before.

Bits are not cheep but this set is "affordable" and gives me options for other project. Used a few of them so far and they cut well :)

Great value for the price. Considering the whole kit is cheaper than a single high quality bit, they are obviously not super durable... but for hobby projects with soft wood like pine they are more than adequate. I am satisfied.
