I have encountered my worse SI Joint inflammation yet leading to sciatica which prompted me to finally purchase one of these lower back/tailbone belt. I also did a test by purchasing this product and another one that had looked similar and way more cheaper. The cheapest version arrived earlier and I wrapped this around for 10 minutes standing, but the belt did not help my sciatica - numbed thighs, I felt discomfort and more numbed, I didn’t think it was the product itself, I just thought that these belt are another one of those gimmicky buys and took the belt off. This ActivePlay version arrived the next day but due to the experience of trying the cheaper version the night before, I assumed this would be the same experience; numbing, tight and discomfiting - not my preference. I put this PlayActive one for what I thought would have been only 10 minutes and held no expectations… I wore this belt and (with slow steadiness) was able to do some light task for a further 30 minutes. The next morning, to double check the test for both belts, I wore the cheaper version again and feel unsteady trying to stand up right to brush my teeth (I give up and sit on the side of my bath for support) and then swap for the PlayActive version and my lower back feels secure. Comparison: The appearance of both do look the same except for PlayActive’s belt inner grips are slightly thicker, meaning more gripping, more resistant so, more secure. Which is why my lower back seems more secure. I was keen to return this product and was hoping the cheaper version could work but I took the sensible option: the comfort, less pain, slightly more mobile and at ease, this one is a winner.

Although I did not purchase this item, this is solely due to my the fact i learnt i needed both back and hip stability. I would like to say it felt extremely comfortable and reassuring to someone with hypermobility and painful hips. It is great quality, discreet and i would like to mention nice and big for someone with large hips like myself

Bought this belt for my wife after a spine consultant suggested it. It's not a cure but it definitely helps with mobility and stability. It has given her the confidence she needed to give her a bit more independence to do things on her own. She is really pleased with it.

This was easy to put on and adjust, and provided a comforting warmth and support for my SI inflammation. After wearing it for a while, I felt the ache ease, and I will definitely use it next time I have a flare up. The sizing is good, with plenty of adjustment possible. I’m a size 8-10, and it also fitted my husband who wears a men’s medium - with room to spare.

It helps supports people either back problems, I have found it to be helpful It’s not bulky and doesn’t affect mobility

This was something I purchased on a "i've tried everything else' scenario and to be honest, so glad I did... It takes a little time to get the perfect position and tightness but once you do, it's magic and releaves the immediate sharpness of the pain. I have tried wearing this all day but guess eveything has it's limitations - it did help, but started to get uncomfortable as the day wore on. As a note, I do wear a T-shirt under just to keep it off direct skin and this helps with overall comfort. It warms the area nicely but will sweat if it's sunny or you are out and about... but not enough to be concerned about or uncomfortable. I have also worn it over jeans and it supports just as well. Would I recommend - Yes, it was a nice surprise that the belt works as well as it does... and delivers on all the promises. Thank you

Well I was a bit skeptical when I read the reports. I took delivery of my belt and immediately put it on as per the instructions. Now normally when I go for a walk after about a mile my hip starts to ache and I get hip pain and my lower back throbs. Today I managed a couple of miles with no hip pain. I will continue to wear the belt and see how it goes. Incidentally the belt is quite comfortable and doesn’t hurt or rub.

Exactly what I needed to help stabilize my SI joint. My joint keeps on locking on the right side after having to limp for 5 months following a knee injury and surgery. My doctor recommended this as I continue to work on stability. It really helps! I got the L/XL, but it seems a little too big. That’s okay though, because it has velcro so I can adjust the fit. It’s a great addition to my fitness routine. It’s soft, supportive, and was a great value for the money.

Habe von meiner Physiotherapeutin den Tipp bekommen bei Beschwerden diesen Gürtel zu tragen. Sobald sich mein Ileosakralgelenk wieder meldet stabilisiere ich es mit diesem Gurt. Er ist gut zu tragen und stört nicht. Sollte er mal an Altersschwäche leiden würde ich mir diesen auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

Best discovery after internet . I lost all hope with my lower back but this belt brought me back . Highly recommended. Stop wasting money on creams and doctors and chiropractors.
