You need to follow the instructions to clean and polish the windscreen and side windows before applying the product, but it is worth it. On the motorway rain instantly dissipates off the windscreen, often without the wipers being required and the side windows are staying cleaner for longer. The reviews I read before purchase on various car portals, suggest that further re-treatment may not be required for many miles. Took me around an hour in total for the whole car, but it is time well spent.

i use this on all our families cars. A 15ml bottle goes a long way. it does recommend to do the windshield thrice but i do 2 coatings on the windshield and 1 coat on all other windows. It lasts up to a year but provides great waterproofing for about 9-10 months before it dwindles down. It makes driving on rainy days that much safer. When applying i use autoglym glass polish to clean the glass first and then apply. The residue is a little tricky to remove and 15ml of the residue remover is not enough. you will have to buff with quite a lot of strength to remove but the results are well worth it. I recommend it to everyone.

They key to this product is preparation! You need to clean the glass properly first. I used a glass polish (Ceriglass) with a Rayon Glass Polishing pad on a machine polisher. Then used Isopropyl to remove any residue. Three coats of G1 on the windscreen and one on the rest of the glass. Leave 5 mins between coats, then you can use the supplied remover but they don't give you enough, so just use Isopropyl again and also use it to clean the wipers. In fact, I am pretty sure that's what's in the bottle anyway. Make sure you do all this on a warm, overcast and dry day or undercover. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Do not allow it to get wet for 24 hours. Once cured it lasts at least 2 years, well it does when I apply it. Zero judder on wipers. It's great when done properly - water just fly's off the glass. You don't even need wipers at times and your glass is less prone to frost and bugs don't stick to it so well. I've used this on four cars now, with the only issues on the first car and that was my fault for not cleaning the glass well enough first. Lesson learnt. Anyone having issues, it's you, not the product.

Did what it was supposed to, application is very easy. Comes with a tiny G1 and a tiny G2 bottle. I actually didn't need much G2 if any. Ran out of the important stuff on my new Tesla Model 3 - with glass roof and B pillars, it's a lot of glass to cover. Just about enough for 1 coat, but not 3 coats on windshield as suggested. The applicator pads are really just cotton pads and fairly poor. Small and hard to grip. Would be better if it was one or 2 bigger pads. Cleaned glass Applied (took about 10 min for a lot of glass) Buffed off - really don't need to use G2 for this, just a dry microfiber cloth buffed out fine. Will see how long it lasts. I would say this is better than the Aquapel stuff I used years ago as that left permanent grooves if not done properly.

It lasted about 3 months, just under 5,000 miles and 3 car washes (hand wash but with jet sprayer and foam). When it was first applied, it was quite good, to see a real benefit the car has to be doing at least 50mph. The application is really awkward and is done in 3 steps, and you have wait after each one. I didn't mind it as the product was advertised as something that would last a year but 3 months is too short for me. I have cleaned and polished the glass with recommended products, I gave it time to set and followed all instructions, still the outcome was only 3 months. The bottle is really stingy, 15ml is barely enough to cover front and back. Personally, I will try a product which has easier application in the future.

This is easy to apply, works similar to rainex, cant review longevity yet however its been on a month+ and its still the same as the day it. Get a very tiny amount of wiper judder in mild rain but its next to nothing, its not enough to bother me thats for sure. *Update* the product lasts about 9 months, i applied in August 2024 and come Apr/May it was starting to fade, the vehicle does about 5k a year so not high mileage. It was applied after using cerium oxide to polish the glass, clay bar then Iso alc to clean any residue so i dont believe any other type of application procedure would increase longevity.

I love Gtechniq but this really hasn’t lived up to the marketing. I prepped the screen exactly as per the instructions. Making sure nothing with left on. Application was easy enough, going vertically across the screen then horizontally, again applying by the book. First problem I encountered was the wiper blades juddering. I cleaned the blades, and applied some of the left over solution onto them, but it didn’t help. Over time the juddering did stop. Longevity - well I do about 4000 miles a year and it was applied about a year back and it’s non existent. No waterproofing at all. Even after 2-3 months dirt, bird droppings etc would weld its self to the screen. Other products, would easily expel dirt after a quick blast with the screen wash, but not this. I really wouldn’t bother applying again, il just go back to using rain x or another product when I next give the car its annual deep clean and protection. A shame as Gtechniq make some real quality products.

Been using this stuff for years. It just works. Glass has to be very clean for easy application though. If glass is the least bit dirty you’ll have a job removing residue.

At first I was not impressed. It took a considerable amount of work to apply. And it rained within days of applying, and unless I was going 50+ mph it did not work very well. Well, wait a week or two and it cured fully? Or it polished? I don't know, but wow! It's been over a month now and this stuff works great. Hardly need wipers at all. Very impressed! Hopefully it lasts the 6 months or so that they state it does.
