best way to texture dry wall patches
this is hands down the best way to texture and blend in a drywall patch area without using a legit texture gun. DO NOT EVER BUY AEROSOL CANS OF TEXTURE AGAIN! this is way better, less expensive, and you can actually use this more than once. learned alot while using this product. SO HAPPY I DECIDED TO BUY. i will never get upset about using a tiny bit of a can of spray texture then throwing way 80% because the can will not work again, and getting more upset that the texture did not even spray very well to "match" ... BUY THE ROLLERS!!!!

Textured paint rollers excellent purchase
Works great on standard drywall and orange peel - like walls for touch up . โฆ. . I used a little paint at a time and did a few layers . I also rolled lightly to allow for the texture to happen . The Great product and worth the price . Comes in a pack so that you can throw them away when done and still have left over for the next time .

Decent rollers, had to cut off the ends
The ends just soak up the paint or in my case epoxy and just droops. I ended up cutting off the ends so I wouldnโt have to worry about it and waste so much material. It did provide decent texture finish. Size was expected and felt like I did get decent value with all the rollers you get. With epoxy it does make a mess so prep the area well so you donโt have a ton of cleanup.

Creeates exactly the minimal texture I wanted
I applied regular paint to primed drywall, first with a regular nap paint roller and then used this sponge roller (with the larger holes) to get this small perfect texture. It takes a bit of time, at least doubling the painting effort. So to do my whole large master bedroom will take a few days because I am 75 yo female and the walls are 12' high and the roller is short. The result is a uniform tiny orange peel... that's a dime I tape to the wall. The little lumps are about 1/8" wide spots of paint. My paint was not thick. I think to get the right effect the paint should NOT be thick. It dries silky smooth. I used egg shell paint. I would expect the same result with any other paint. The sponges don't hold paint - it falls right out, at least in my small test area using it the first time, so that's why it's best to put the paint on the wall some other way. I'll have to consider using my paint spray. The sponges wash off clean after use very easily, almost paint repellant. Highly recommend if you have the time, esp. for a small project.

Who's to blame?
Maybe this reflects more on product placement during search. I was specifically searching for "bed liner textured roller". These weren't the cheapest but they were also not expensive and I figured that a mid quality roller would require a couple extra. I ended up using all 8 for about 2 quarts of liner. The liner was just too thick for the rollers. They were great for a few passes but ultimately too soft to make real progress with. Standard interior paint would be a better fit but like I said the search was specific so maybe it was an algorithm thing.

It's very convenient to use. I like the savings I get when using my AMAZON prime card.
They work well.

LOVE IT!!!
Hands down, THE BEST cover I have found so far to re-texture my walls!!! Is it a perfect match? No. BUT, it is SO CLOSE! I actually like the result much better than my walls original texture. Prior to this roller, I had pretty decent success with the rubber, ramen noodle looking one from Linzer, but this one I find far better. One great feature is the squared-off end, allowing you to get much closer to corners. I found that with the Linzer one, it was like pushing a rope to get the compound on the wall to then work to an acceptable texture. This one, whether owing to its smaller diameter, or its different composition, I found so easy to get the mud on the wall, and I found that I could keep going over it as much as I wanted till it looked right. Many people have commented that this cover doesn't work with paint. I can totally see that. The seller should market these for thinned joint compound wall texturing only. Because they are unbelievably awesome for that! YLTOLOO, any chance that you could make a 9" cover, same material, same diameter???
