Great lens at a great price. No vig. I got the 220 degree fisheye. I have the moment fisheye for my iPhone 11 Pro Max, decided to try the Neewer fisheye for my iPhone 16 pro max. This lens is a lot bigger than the moment lens and I kind of love it. Gives me a little more weight and looks official. I definitely recommend this lens 👌

Great lens for the iPhone. I’m using the 16 pro max so there isn’t an issue with using this lens on the latest iPhone. Before I move on with this review, I’ll state that I went through three of these lenses before getting one that’s nearly perfect. The first one was good and works very well for portrait photography, this was the main reason I purchased it. With this same lens, I saw not so sharp images with distant objects like trees. The leaves lacked detail. Up close objects are very sharp and clean. Great for portraits. The second (a replacement) had terrible image quality. The center of the lens had bad distortion, a reversed salad bowl effect. The edges were clean but the center 2/3’s was badly distorted. Along with this replacement, a third was purchased. Two were delivered at the same time. I figured the more I can test, the better chances of getting a good one. The second one is nearly perfect. Very sharp across the image with very little distortion in the extreme corners. Leaves on trees are extremely sharp, taking photos of the night sky of the Milky Way and constellations using night mode on the iPhone is awesome. The stars are a great way to test image quality. **Note** I am not using the clip on attachment that came with the lens. It is not secure enough and there is now way to perfectly center the lens over the camera. Get a case from Reeflex or Sandmarc with 17mm threads to attach the lens. I’m using the BeastCage from BeastGrip for precision alignment of the lens over the iPhone camera. Comparing this lens to others I have (BeastGrip 1.7x telephoto & Reeflex 2x telephoto) I find that the image quality is on par with the more expensive options. However you may have to test a couple of these before getting a good one, but hopefully not. Maybe I received a couple from a bad batch. Made on Monday or Friday LOL. The lens is smaller than the 1.7x from BeastGrip & doesn’t weigh as much. It is also smaller and lighter than the Reeflex 2x with the same image quality. The photos show the night sky with great detail. I have a lot of light pollution in my area, so I had to edit the photo fairly heavily to bring the details of the Milky Way out. I also provided crops of the trees and corners at 48mp. A 24mp image will look even better at the corners if you have an iPhone that uses the 48mp sensor. I do recommend this lens, just get a dedicated case for your iPhone model from Reeflex or Sandmarc, I do not recommend using the lens clamp attachment that comes with it, it’s not secure enough & is difficult to perfectly center over the main lens. Hopefully you’ll get a well made copy with your first purchase…. also, if you use a high-quality polarizing filter with the supplied filter adapter that comes with the lens, you can get some really nice images with a dark blue sky and remove the glare off of objects either from the sun or reflections. The last few samples were taken using a polarized filter.

Amazing lens, very fun to use!

Very heavy lens, your phone will topple over and fall, you definitely need a stand. Awkward to hold, difficult to hold your phone with lens on due to the weight, clip blocks icons on your screen so good luck trying to tap or select anything near the top of your phone screen. Image quality not great. Returned item.

Used this on my Samsung S25 Ultra. I bought the Neewer case that allowed for easy attachment instead of using the included clip. It worked fine on the main camera. Gives you a slightly tighter shot. Image quality seems to be unchanged using it. Using it on the telephoto lens produced mixed results where it really had a hard time focusing. I wouldn't recommend it if that's what you want to use it for. Build quality is solid, but it's bigger and heavier than expected. I ended up returning it. If it were cheaper, I would consider keeping it, but it's too inconvenient for me to really use.

Amazing photos with an iPhone!!! Only issue is there is no distance between the subject and the lens. You can only photograph flat objects that you can place the lens on top of. But the photos are way better then I was expecting

Couldn’t get attached to phone correctly. Giving the benefit if the doubt with 2 star as great idea but fit could be me

Material is solid, a bit heavy if you use it in the phone. If you use the clip with lens, you probably having hard time to keep it on. I brought the phone cage with 17mm thread, it solved the problem. I use an iPhone 16Pro max and it works great with 1X and 5x. The lens case is super cute. Lens result is surprisingly good, here are some of my example, wow!

Hatte das Objektiv ursprünglich für ein S23 Ultra und den Neewer Cage gekauft. Da war es auch durchaus gut und hat brauchbare Bilder produziert, wenn auch es an den Rändern schon echt unscharf wurde. Vor ein paar Monaten hab ich dann auf das S25 Ultra gewechselt und mir wieder den Neewer Cage bestellt (der übrigens echt top ist!) und musste feststellen, dass dieses Objektiv am S25 einfach nicht zu gebrauchen ist. Totale Unschärfe über den gesamten Bildbereich. Hab alles ausprobiert, liegt auch nicht am Cage. Ich besitze auch das S23 noch und habe auch getestet, ob sich evtl. das Objektiv geändert hat (keine Ahnung, Umwelteinflüsse, dreckig, etc.), aber nein, am S23 sind die Bilder tatsächlich besser. Dann habe ich vor Kurzem das Freewell 1.55x Objektiv bestellt, um zu schauen wie es sich hier verhält, ob es evtl. ein Problem mit dem S25 ist. Antwort: Nein, das Freewell Objektiv produziert am S25 hervorragende Bilder. Daher kann ich dieses Neewer Objektiv leider nicht mehr empfehlen.

Works great. Gives new options to work with. Added a few pictures. One is a macro shot from the Neewer case box test. And one from my mouse/desk mat.

Absolument pas évident à utiliser au début, avec un Samsung qui change d'objectif tout seul, mais une fois qu'on a le truc, on a de bons résultats (pour autant que les sujets acceptent de prendre la pause :D)
