Exceptional Quality and a Huge Improvement in Water Taste
One of the Best Purchases I Have Ever Made!!! I have been using this BOROUX system with New York City tap water, and I am extremely satisfied with it. The first thing I noticed was the quality. This is not a cheap, flimsy plastic product. The stainless-steel construction feels solid, well made, and built to last. The entire system looks and feels like a serious piece of equipment. The difference in the taste of the water is immediately noticeable. The filtered water tastes cleaner, smoother, and simply much better than ordinary tap water. My family drinks a lot of water, and the large capacity makes this system practical for everyday use without constantly refilling a small pitcher. Filter life will obviously depend on the water and the amount used. With NYC water, I expect replacement somewhere around 12 to 18 months, possibly longer, but I will judge that from actual use rather than marketing claims. I also plan to send a filtered-water sample to an independent laboratory, and I may update this review when I receive the results. The initial cost is not low, but I see it as an investment. Over time, constantly buying small pitcher filters or cases of bottled water can easily cost more. Bottled water also means plastic waste and possible exposure to microplastics. I am very happy to be done with carrying and storing plastic water bottles. BOROUX states that its filters reduce a wide range of contaminants, including chlorine, lead, PFAS, VOCs, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, microplastics, and other unwanted substances. I have not independently verified every one of those claims yet, so I am not presenting them as my own laboratory results. What I can say with certainty is that the water tastes dramatically better and that the system has been excellent in daily use. This is easily the best water-filtration purchase I have made and honestly one of the best household purchases I have made in years. Solid construction, excellent capacity, excellent-tasting water, and no more dependence on disposable plastic bottles. Highly recommended. It is a keeper for life.

Wonderful filtration system!
This is such a beautiful gravity, water system! I needed a little help and the Customer Sevice was beyond awesome! You get to talk to a real person and everything! I had a defective spigot that I had bought separately and they’re going to send me a new one. I don’t even have to return the one that isn’t working. I can’t say enough good things about the system and the customer service. It’s a breath of fresh air! And the water is spectacular! I got the Sage green unit. There was a speck of a blemish on the sage green, which I’m kind of bummed about but other than that it’s spectacular. and Customer Service is making that right too! What a great company.🙏😁

Take a pass
Wish I could give zero stars. Not my thing to post. Super experience with A. But this. The Boroux water filtration system for 387$ is an affront to mankind’s progress. Cheap cylinders requiring full assembly for spigot, filters, nuts and bolts instructions made no sense! But it gets better. After all that… a red dye test at the end. That’s a test for bacteria! Not sure whether to throw in the trash and take a hit or go ballistic. Sorry for the rant. My personal experience with this garbage? Take a pass…

Good but…
The water tastes great. It works really well, but if the bottom tank isn’t completely empty, and you fill up the top tank all the way it will leak around the middle and run everywhere.
