Always fresh red vines red ropes. Wish these red vines ropes were sold with option to buy only one bag. Easy to eat for people with chewing issues, unlike some licorice candy. The only negative is the red ropes become little pieces at the bottom of the bag rather than receiving all equal length red ropes like regular red vines licorice where you always get the same length red vines in every package. Would still recommend to anyone who likes red vines licorice.

I was reminiscing and thought of these so I ordered some. They turned out to be the wrong type. Then I looked again and found these. They are precisely the red vines. I remember going to baseball games when I was young. They taste exactly the same just shorter pieces. I’m very excited to relate this piece of my childhood.

Can’t seem to get the Scotty red dog licorice anymore so these are my go tos now. Nice flavor and texture reminds me a bit of the red Scotty dogs but these don’t stick to your teeth.

I haven't had these in quite a few years. And unfortunately, like just about everything else the quality and value have been compromised for profit. Red ropes used to be plump, soft and bursting with flavor. What they are selling now are thin, dry, tough and taste like a cross between bar soap and cough medicine. And the price? At over five bucks for the same size bag I used to buy for a few dollars - I won't be wasting money on "real" red ropes again.

They arrived in pieces. I was kind of looking forward to longer ropes of this, but they were all broken and pretty much about an inch long. Not the worst thing in the world, but still... Maybe they were just old and brittle and couldn't handle being shipped, but that was a little obnoxious. I guess I'll stick with Twizzlers when I need road snacks.

Very fresh and chewy. Great way to renew your childhood licorice fetish.

I gave them two stars but only because the still tasted the same they were all broken and in diff sizes and it was sticky.
