Avantree Oasis Plus 2 – Bluetooth TV Transmitter with Remote Volume Control | Connect Two Headphones, aptX Adaptive, Soundbar Passthrough, and Optical or AUX TV support

Samsung 58 inch TV with optical audo. Two Cowin E7 headphones. Connected right in series on the optical. If you turn it off, it goes right through to the speaker bar. It was easy to pair the headphones and it is very good sound quality. Turn on the box, turn on the headphones, it all hooks up. Very nice.

AWESOME TV Bluetooth transmitter with all the options for connections. Easiest connection with Bose NC 700 Headphones and adjustments with Bose app. To install watch the video with Amazon product. Could not get QR Code to work. Definitely worth the extra cost!

My use: I connect two bluetooth headphones (wireless) to the TV [LG C1] for casual viewing and two audiophile headphones (wired) for serious viewing (opera, movies). The speakers, while good quality, don't work for my old ears or very well for my odd-shaped room. The TV does a lousy job of connecting to the bluetooth. Fussy sometimes, dropping connections, forcing me to go into the settings to correct too often. The Avantree solves all of this. The Avantree powers on when the TV powers on. The Avantree connects immediately to both bluetooth headphones as soon as they are turned on. The Avantree passes the optical signal through to my dac/headphone amp so the wired headphones turn on instantly when that amp is powered on. Any one or all four headphones all on with a single click. The TV forced a choice: wireless of wired, not both. Now all four headphones work together. Caveat: If you have Bose QC Ultra headphones (as I have) you will notice that both the Bose and the Avantree advertise that they use the aptX-adaptive codec. The lowest latency seems to be aptX-LL which the Avantree supports but the Bose does not. There are other quality bluetooth headphones that will give a slightly better lip-synch for TV by connecting with aptX-LL. The difference is subtle but some people are sensitive to it. EDIT: Device failed in three months; failure to pair with two headsets and failure to reset to factory settings. Avantree is responsive for problems and did replace the item. New one is working fine. But ...my assessment of the situation for 2026 and beyond is that this item and similar ones are obsolete. For future use do not buy old bluetooth devices for TV viewing. Newer Auracast devices (when the technology is mature and stable) will solve latency problems, connectivity problems and allow far more than two headsets to be reliably used. Avantree is one of the leaders in Auracast devices but I expect serious competition mighty shake that in the future. Also future TVs will support Auracast instead of bluetooth and transmitters like this will not be produced.

Works flawlessly, very very easy to setup. Plugging all cables in, and pairing two headsets took less time than unboxing all the items. Compared to a different brand that I won't mention, this works flawlessly. The competitor brand I used, started malfunctioning within a week. I'm happy that there's also a remote to control volume when I'm using the optical connection.

I was hopeful since this was the 2025 model that perhaps this Avantree product would connect with my B&W Zeppelin Pro wireless bluetooth speaker. It appears that the hardware for pairing is similar with the rapid blinking and pressing headphones button method, but it did not pair successfully. So unfortunately, it is a return. In the meantime, I tried also pairing with WF1000-XM4 and XM5 with the device in Transmitter functionality (I did not test receiver functionality). And they both paired successfully and sounded OK. One thing to note was that the XM5's support APT-X Codec, but I was not able to change the codec to AptX to support higher quality sound... The device is easy to set up, assuming that pairing works OK. In my opinion, there are a lot less expensive dongles that support the basic SBC if SBC is the only thing you are looking to use or that is supported by the device. Maybe for other devices the AptX works ok and connects ok, but I seemed to have trouble with the devices I wanted to use it with.

I have a unique set up for entertaining outside that consists of a covered area (Porte cochere) and a large back patio in which I wanted to play music. I already had a vizio 5.1.2 SE elevate soundbar and subwoofer in the covered area and in order to enjoy the music on the patio, I had to turn the volume up so loud in was uncomfortable in the covered area. So my solution was to just get another Vizio sound bar for the patio. But then I thought the sources would be battling and in between two settings you would be able to hear different music playing which is not desirable. So I asked chat gpt if I could pair on source to two different devices. The immediate answer was no only one device can be paired to another device. But then chat GPT explained however, the Avantree Oasis Plus 2 device can receive an input from a source and then it can pair to two devices. It appears this device is mostly used so two people can listen to the same music on ear phones. And it said I could pair the two Vizio Sound Bars to one source. So I bought the Avantree Oasis Plus 2 from Amazon and with Chat GPT helping me trouble shoot, I quickly paired both soundbars! OMG I am going to break my arm patting myself on the back! This device synchronized my sound bars perfectly! The multidirectional sound bars sound better than I ever expected. The Best Buy geeks gave me a funny look and rolled their eyes at me when they realized I was not going to their Soros solution at multiples of the cost of two sound bars and the Avantree device. My solutions blows away the soros system. Especially with perfectly synchronized subwoofers above in the garage attic. Extremely happy with this device and this solution!! Plus my one tv remote controls both soundbars bars so I can enjoy different volume levels in each area!!!

Very seldom does it connect to my Apple Ear Pods when I take them out of the case. I continually have to turn the device off then on to connect. OK once connected, however, it could be the Apple Ear Pods rather than the device. Let me describe why. Had to use this device because I found out from Perplexity AI that LG Smart TV's don't support Apple Ear Pods. I also found that Apple Ear Pods use a different proprietary system and are not like all other Ear Pods so they have a tendency to have issues with some devices. If anyone else has this issue with Apple Ear Pods connecting to an LG Smart TV this device will work. Other than the connection issue the volume remote is kind of funky but works.

Good idea frustrating reliability Cool that I can get 2 headphones to work and use the regular tv At once God send to have in an open floor plan at our beach condo when kids want to watch cartoons and adults want to enjoy morning coffee ….when it works!!!! I had to go to the bathroom and plug into wall to get it to pair so that there wasn’t interference from all other devices (phones tablets laptops etc) That worked and then I brought it out to tv It worked 2-3 times For whatever reason the 2nd headset stopped connecting Now That button won’t enter pairing mode All of. Sudden overnight the 1st pair did the same thing The device is on and powered but it won’t enter pairing mode I can’t connect either headset now Even though both worked brilliantly at one point I have had it for 2 weeks It worked 3-4 times When it did it was amazing I tried to contact support during live chat hours when they said it was open hours They said they were closed and not online I’m waiting for Them to contact me back …. I want a solution like this that is reliable bc when it worked it was a dream

Si tratta di “Avantree Oasis Plus 2”, un dispositivo che si collega alla te attraverso l’uscita ottica del televisore. L’ho montato e in brevissimo tempo ho fatto il riconoscimento delle due cuffie e funziona benissimo. Ho risolto il mio problema con un piccolo dispositivo geniale di cui sono estremamente soddisfatto
