Very good value drive thats ideal for using as games storage. I am always running out of space as games keep getting larger every year, so it was great to be able to add an extra 1tb of storage to my PC. The speeds are nothing to write home about, but for use as a games drive they are more than sufficient. I have installed Expedition 33 as well as a few multiplayer games and they have all been running flawlessly, with fast load times. The drive itself does feel a little light weight and cheap as its outer case is made from plastic. The screw holes are metal, so the screws won't strip out. The temp is 27c according to HW monitor, so seems to be staying cool despite not having a metal case.

Works great, bought when on offer for less then £10. I thought it was cheap because it would not last or work well but had now for 6 month and whilst not the fastest drive out there it's not slow.

Had to use "Drive management" to detect it, but after that, everything was perfect. Lovely slimline case, and perfect as an external drive to take with me with important documents. High speed, no noise (SSD), and immediate access of files.

Easy to install. There's only one way it can possibly be offered up. Came with good quality mounting screws. Fit perfectly. As soon as it was in and formatted that was that. Absolutely no fuss. No compatibility issues. If it's the right format for your device your device will be the problem if it won't go in there. Have had absolutely no problems with it faithfully retaining security camera video recordings.

A very good SSD I have it in my laptop.

Unfortunately my SSD would spike to 100% Active Time with zero data transfer after sustained usage, locking up the task and forcing me to physically remove the drive (which was in an external enclosure) to force a removal error and stop the frozen copy/install task. I tried reformatting, swapping cables and enclosures, with no improvement, so it was returned. Otherwise it seemed to be well made, benchmarked well, and the packaging was well presented for a great price.

So far so good. Of course, longevity will be the ultimate judge, and I can't speak to that yet. I replaced an older desktop SATA drive that had died with this SSD. Since it is much smaller than the old style desktop HD it could not be secured in the drive bay without an adapter. I simply used a small piece of industrial strength Velcro to secure it to the bottom of the drive bay. I plugged the cables in and it was good to go. I loaded it with Win 7 Pro. I didn't have to format the drive, although Win 7 may have done that as part of the install. I ran into a glitch during the install, but It wasn't an issue caused by the drive. It appears this issue is not unusual with Win 7 Pro installs, and I was able to find an easy solution on YouTube. Yhe OS install is done, all is working well, and I'm very pleased with the drive. Programs open quickly and the system is stable. The light that used to blink when the old disc drive was reading or writing data no longer is blinking, but that may be because it's an SSD and has no moving parts? Certainly nothing to worry about. And, being an SSD with no moving parts it is absolutely silent. Bottom line? This seems to be a good drive for the price of a similar capacity SD card, and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

El empaquetado es sencillo en una caja de carton, dentro viene protegido la unidad SSD, en un blister de plastico blando ensamblado en dos partes (no es un "abrefacil" imposible de abrir), es muy sencillo para acceder a él. Incluye un destronillador pequeño, una bolsita con tornillos, y un manual en papel en 2 idiomas: chino e inglés. Dentro del manual te lo explica para varios modelos de SSD y m.2 SSD. En SSD SATA usa tecnologia QLC y en la capacidad de 2 TB (la que compré) son 600 TBW (Tera Byte Written, tera bytes escritos) de duración (con el programa CrystalDiskInfo podrás probar la salud de la unidad por S.M.A.R.T. y los TBW que has escrito a lo largo del tiempo). Estoy usando el SSD como externo para guardar datos. Lo he conectado a través de un Dock HDD del mismo fabricante por conexión USB 3.0 al ordenador. A la hora de pasar ficheros de disco convencional a SSD, tenemos que tener en cuenta que grabar así nos va a tardar horas (esto es normal, los cuellos de botella entre unidades hacen que el traspaso sea mas lento). Una vez que tienes los datos dentro del SSD, la lectura y administración dentro del SSD, incluso en forma externa (no a través de conexión directa a controladora SATA) es bastante decente. Antes de usarlo, comprobé todos los sectores, es un fabricante que aun no había usado en SSD, y quería estar seguro de la calidad. No dió ningún problema. Lo hice con el software de HD Tune 2.55 (un poco antigua, pero válido para comprobar los sectores en modo lectura sin hacer grabaciones. Es mas que suficiente. Hay otros testeadores como el GSmartControl y el Testdisk, con los que podrás hacer lo mismo, son gratuitos). Probé el SSD también con el AS SSD Benchmark, la conexión como dije por USB 3.0, y en la captura que incluyo son los datos que dió. Conseguirás mejores resultados conectandolo por controladora SATA III, pero recuerda que la velocidad teorica de esta conexión puede diferir del la proporcionada por la hoga de especificaciones del fabricante. Depende de la marca de la placa base, los controladores o si está conectado por controladora PCIe 1x (no en placa base). Para el uso que le voy a dar, debería tener una durabilidad mas que aceptable sin mucha degradación de TBW. Si usas SSD para grabar datos o como copia de seguridad. ten en cuenta que deberías conectar la unidad cada 6 meses para regennerar las celdas NAND de posibles degradaciones de retención de datos. A veces una pequeña escritura puede bastar. Si empleamos la unidad para leer mas que para escribir, el simple encendido para acceder a los datos puede ser mas que suficiente para regenerarlas o mantener la carga en estas celdas.
