I wanted something more rugged for my Apple Watch. The watch fits into the band perfect and snaps closed. When adjusting the strap it has tongs that slide into the band and a sliding piece that doesn't allow the watch to un-strap by itself. It literally took about 10 seconds to snap the the watch in. It took longer to remove the apple straps from the watch than it did to install watch to the case/strap. It does function 100% the same as without the new band. I have used this in the field while doing infrastructure investigations and have smashed it against everything you can think of working in tight spaces and you know what? The case shows zero signs of damage, totally protects my watch and it easily washes up clean. Worth every penny

Hands down these are the best Bands you can buy for an Apple Watch. AMBAND is the best. I have five of them now. People always ask me where I got it. Solid protection with that chunky look. So good.

I bought this for my husband, and he really likes it! What he likes most is the double clasp, which keeps the watch secure, and the quality backing, which helps protect the watch from scratches and keeps it clean. He also really likes how flexible and comfortable it is compared to other brands that can feel stiff. It has a nice, masculine look and feels like a well-made, quality product. One important tip he mentioned when installing your watch: the crown must be inserted first to ensure a proper fit and function. Be sure the crown edge of the backing is also properly aligned. Once everything is aligned correctly, the watch should fit and function as it should. Overall, he’s very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely worth every cent, I am HARD on mine, and after almost 3 years, the turn knob broke off, and I just ordered a new one because of how much I love it! I spin wrenches, work in an industrial setting, swim, whatever you name it! And this is the only thing that’s kept my watch! Worn everyday!

This is a great looking band. It protects my watch very well, but it has some minor issues. The first is that it's really tough to spin the crown. You can do it, but it's nowhere as easy as if the band wasn't on. The other issue is that the band is one solid piece of plastic(?). Due to this it won't fit on my 3 in 1 charger without removing the band. I can put it on but it doesn't sit flat on it so it doesn't get a connection. I have to use the Apple charger :(

I bought the 49mm version in red for my Ultra 2. First thing to know if you're thinking of getting one, yourself, just know that it adds quite a bit of bulk in thickness, height, and width. The Ultra series watches are big to begin with, but this cover band adds quite a bit to that. Beyond that, it is good looking, if you don't mind the CHONK and the "greebleys", with a definite Iron Man vibe without being overly obvious about it. It is, however, a bit ostentatious. No one will wear this in a business setting. But, for sports or work, I think it's just fine, if you're into the higher tier G-Shock kind of look. I do believe that it will be rugged, especially with the addition of the tempered glass face protector, along with the extra layers of metal and ABS plastic. Nothing will save the watch from a heavy, direct strike. But it should eat glancing blows without issues. I was also happily surprised about the protective backing plate. I honestly thought I'd have to leave it off because I had my doubts that my aftermarket charger would work with it. However, I had no issues. It started charging as soon as I set it on its pedestal, which I have had trouble with in the past with other third-party watch bands. I have no doubt, because of this, that it will work with an original Apple charger as well. Overall, if you're into the look, which I am, I think it's worth it's reasonable price tag. The red, gold, and black is a nice color combination.

This case is huge. I mean Flavor Flav huge. The scale of it is so ridiculous, you can't believe it until you strap it on. The 49mm case size of the Ultra 3 is visually mitigated by the fact that it's rectangular and the strap is wide. With this case mounted, it looks like you've strapped a smartphone to your arm. Also, I bought a titanium smartwatch and this case just looks like a giant chunk of plastic. Which it is. The intent, I think, is to look over-built and indestructible, but it actually just turns a beautifully machined titanium watch into something intentionally ugly and garish. I also bought an aftermarket Ocean strap, just in case this was too big for me. I switched back and forth, from just the Ocean strap to this case, over the course of a week, and discovered the silicon Ocean strap is substantially more comfortable than the strap on this case. The additional bulk of this case makes it flop on your wrist, so you tend to buckle it tighter. At the end of the day your wrist is worn out. The strap is rigid plastic, same as the case, and doesn't flex much at all. I wanted a rugged look for my Ultra 3, but the screen protector ended up being the only part of this case that I used. The self-aligning screen protector applicator is excellent. And last, this case should be made with a black buckle. Everything else on the case is black (or, in my case, orange), the watch itself is black, the strap keeper is black. The silver buckle looks goofy and out-of-place. Even if you have a silver watch, you can't see the watch case once it's in the case, so matching it with a silver buckle is a moot point. It may seem like a trivial detail, but it was one of the details that caused me to say "nope" and write this review. I have a case on my iPhone that is a ruggedized, mil-spec impact rated beast and, in my hand, I barely perceive a size difference with or without it. This case turns an already-big Ultra 3 into a clownish novelty that screams "LOOK AT ME!" from across the room. If that's your jam, this is your watch case. I decided an orange Ocean strap on my black titanium Ultra 3 is everything I need and nothing that I don't. (Thanks Zac Brown.)
