Men's Eco-Drive Weekender Watch in Stainless Steel with Blue Polyurethane Strap, Blue Dial (Model: AW1158-05L)

This looks great, it’s simple, clean and straight forward with a very nice blue band and blue watch face that draws you right in to the clear look of the time. Sometimes a manufacturer just gets it right like Chevy did back in the day when they introduced the 57 Chevy. To me this watch is a classic and Citizen’s reaching for the stars and I think they have succeeded. It’s becoming my go to and I’m wearing it more often than some very sophisticated watches.

After several models of Apple Watch, this is such a great experience. I’ve owned 3 Apple Watches and became tired of the issues, charging, bright health lights, and many annoyances. Edit: actually sleeping so much better w/o the bright lights of Apple Watch waking me up all night. That’s out of the way. First moment putting on this beautiful and simple analog Citizen Watch, I knew it’s good. Clean and simple, solar charging and a gorgeous blue watch face. Fills the bill perfectly. I’m happy going back to basics - an attractive analog watch that does one thing and does it well - time. I don’t need a watch trying to be everything. Don’t need it to pay at the register, weather, email, texts and not turning on when I want and not when I don’t. Apple Watch is annoying and having to charge it every 2 days, no way. This absolutely stunningly simple Citizen watch is a watch. No charging puck, no software. Place it in a light source and charged. 10 years and it’ll still be working. I’ll be history but the watch will show it’s age but still ticking. Imagine, a guy coming from a “smartwatch” back to basics and be much happier with his simple analog watch. Citizen does it for me. Low profile, large watch face, beautiful simple design and it won’t wake me up at night with annoying lights. Love it.

My main concern judging by posted pictures was the face size. The face is perfect. I have a slimmer wrist with bigger hand and the contrast is awesome. The band is actually quite long, especially compared to an Apple L/XL. I had no issue finding the perfect fit. To clear up some maybe assumptions, the band is not perforated. It’s just dimpled. But, wrist hasn’t sweat. So far so good. The dial is stunning. This watch EASILY hits alot higher than its cost on Amazon. If someone were to ask me, I truly wouldn’t know. And that’s a good thing. The blue is brilliant, the polished silver is perfect, and the weight makes it a daily staple with no fatigue. Only gripe is the date truly is tiny. Like tiny tiny I question why even have it. But it’s hard to knock this watch at all. Final note, it’s even an eco drive which is nuts. Buy it.

Beautiful. The most comfortable watch strap I ever done ownt. It's not plastic, it's rubber - VERY soft and pliable, you can wear it all day and night, and not feel like you need a break. I also like that you can put the strap keepers where you want them, and they stay. It's very lightweight. I like the big 12-3-6-9 numerals. The seconds hand aligns with the indices perfectly (rare on SO many watches). I love Citizen's Eco-Drive. It has a cheap mineral crystal so it will scratch easily, but the anti-reflective coating makes is much easier to read, especially against dark dials under bright light. 100M water resistance is sweet. I wish all watch manufacturer's would replace these silly rubber straps with NATO straps. I can't stand that rubber feel on my wrist, and moving the strap keepers is a chore. The lume is good on the hands, not as good as Seiko of course, but I wish the indices pips were bigger. They look like teeny tiny stars in the sky at night, too small to see, and their lume dies away in minutes. Can the date window be any smaller?? This is the reason I took off 1 star. It's a very nice looking Eco-Drive for the price. 100m water resistance is perfect (50m = only for splashes and rain, 100m = showering, swimming, snorkeling, 200m = diving), solar rechargeable, useable lume on the hands, has date, quartz accuracy, lightweight yet doesn't feel cheap, and the keepers stay where you put them. It's a good sport or weekend watch, but I wouldn't wear it to the office or for anything formal. Nothing else to say except buy it.

Item was as described and arrived on time. Nice watch I like how it charges itself as long as it gets light. These watches are designed to be in the light to charge. I left mine in the window sill for about two days and it works great. Just remember it needs light to keep it charged .

Beautiful watch keeps great time, doesn't need batteries, and the hands glow in the dark. I love the polyurethane band too.

I have good experience with Citizen Eco drive. I bout more than 6 watches. This watch was not working when I bought it. I put it in the light(sun) it started to work. If I leave it in the drawer it stops. Tried to put it in the sun or light, it started to work but not in regular movement and jumping two seconds in each movement.

Take one star off because the Case Material might easy to scratch by metallic item. The date is way too small that Citizen could make it bigger.
