Lots of detail and great quality
Fun! If Iโm inspired to purchase another one, it deserves 5 stars. Sturdy heavy weight wood sheets make it easy to punch out the tinier pieces without breakage. Instructions were more like 4 out of 5 as there were a couple unclear issues with installing the light. Easy enough to connect wires and works fine but the picture quality and instructions werenโt specific on which side to attach/glue and I had my doubts about the touch pad working thru the wood(it does). The tiny clip positioned to hold the wires in place is a little too close to the printed power button to get it positioned as intended but still works. Thereโs a channel you build down the back corner after installing the light intended to run the wires but the instructions donโt tell you to do that. Then thereโs a back wall panel at the bottom you install that has a tambour(bendable like a roll top desk) that covers a small cubby that looks like maybe intended for the battery pack but it doesnโt fit so I used that to bring the wires out and the battery pack just sits behind. Beside the light, went together great and have already ordered another.

Lovely DIY project for puzzle and art lovers
As an art lover, I truly appreciated the level of detail in this Kit. The tiny pieces are beautifully designed and thoughtfully crafted. Every little element adds character, and you can tell a lot of care went into the design. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole process enjoyable instead of frustrating. Putting it together honestly made me feel like a miniature architect or engineer, carefully assembling a tiny world piece by piece. If you enjoy hands-on creative projects and love intricate details, this kit is incredibly satisfying. Highly recommend

Great gift that gives legos vibes
Boyfriend loves legos but decided to get this to try something different with similar feel. He really liked it, especially with the wiring and the pieces snapped really well. We are both impressed by the quality and details of every object and there was no need to use glue or tweezers. Good value and clear instructions.

Pleasantly Surprised!
So I have always wanted one of these book nooks, but I was initially disappointed when I realized that you had to assemble them yourself. I love arts and crafts, but I hate puzzles, I hate tedious little tasks with small objects, and I hate having to assemble things with a set of directions. I do enough of that for practical purposes. Why would I want to do that for fun? However, the more I learned about them, the more intrigued I became about putting one together. I really enjoy listening to audiobooks and podcasts while I cook, etc. so I thought it might be fun to try it. Iโm so glad I did! I listened to the 2016 BBC Radio drama reading of Jane Eyre, and went to work lol. This was my first book nook, and it took me about 4 to 4.5 hours to put it together. It was actually easier than I thought it would be, however I do have a few leftover pieces that I could never figure out where they went. Wherever they were supposed to go, it didnโt seem to matter much. If I had, had more spare time, I would have searched the instructions and sample pictures more carefully, but I had already spent 4 hours working on it, and was ready to get it finished. I will say, Iโm a little disappointed that the outer structure is not made more durable. The whole thing is cardboard, and because you have to put it together, take it apart, and then put it together again to make sure all of the bigger pieces fit properly, it would be easy to hollow the little pieces of cardboard out that fit into the holes. Itโs very delicate. Keep away from small children, if you want to keep it in one piece. Iโm actually a little nervous about stacking books on either side of it. Recommendations: I learned the hard way that you definitely need to purchase some clear craft glue for it. I purchased white, and while it isnโt as visible once it dries, I still would have preferred to use clear glue, because I could have glued the pieces together more efficiently. Once you have most of it assembled, and are certain you wonโt have to take it alert again to work on it, I would actually recommend some super glue, so it will hold better. I also purchased a pair of craft tweezers, but that was a waste, because I ended up not even needing to use them. I found the instruction booklet to be very colorful and easy to read, however. There were a few areas that were really confusing, and I ended up having to style it in my own way in a few places. It still looked nice, but I wish the instructions had been a little more clear. All in all, I definitely recommend it!

Cute and fun
Great book nook challenging. Lighting actually works and is easy to install and get to to change batteries. Wood is a good thickness. Fair warned it does not come with twisters or glue.

A great gift ๐
I had such a fun time putting this together! It took me roughly 4 hours to build. All the pieces were good quality. I was a little nervous because it's the kind you have to poke out but none broke! I will be purchasing more. It's definitely worth the money and would make an excellent gift! Just make sure to have crafter glue handy!

Great first book nook kit
For my first book nook, I thought this was a great kit. I purchased craft glue, and a hobby tool set separately, which I definitely needed to complete it. I found the books slightly difficult to put together smoothly, but they still turned out alright. The instructions were relatively clear, but there were some details that I thought could have been elaborated on. For example, the little pieces of PVC that were provided for the windows had a film on both sides that needed to be removed. This was not described in the instructions. I initially thought there had to be a film because of how cloudy they were, but when I couldn't seem to peel it away, believed it was meant to be translucent which led to frustration. Once it was all put together, I could not see into the front of it well. I ended up taking it apart to take the windows out due to this. Once removed, I was finally able to remove the film and put it back together again. The finished product looks very true to the pictures. It is so vibrant and cute on my bookshelf with my other books. Assembling the light also took me a moment to figure out. The pieces are well labeled and relatively organized. I didn't struggle to locate any of the pieces I needed and finished the entire thing in a couple of hours over the course of a couple of days. I thought this was a lot of fun and can't wait to buy another book nook to feed my crafting obsession.

Took a lot of time to build but it was fun and the final result is amazing! The instructions are really easy to follow, and the material is of a good quality, although I was thanful for the backup pieces lol. Note that you'll need superglue (I used gorilla glue) as it is not included in the kit. Made it as a gift for someone, but I'll be ordering one for myself!

My wife had a blast building it. Careful of small parts like the neck of the violin/cello though.

I've made kits before and this one by far is more user-friendly. First of all the lights are already put together, so you don't have to strip any wires and connect anything yourself. Secondly, the majority of pieces are all pre-painted, so you don't have to cut and paste any images onto the wood, which can look messy. The pre-painted pieces give a much cleaner final product. It does have some small pieces that you need to be careful with, but they do include backups of the fragile ones in case you accidentally break a piece. The pieces all fit together nicely, just make sure you follow the instructions about which pieces to connect first. Overall, I really enjoyed this book nook and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Took about 20 hours to complete. The final product is very cute but those individual books are tough!
