How many people can play at once? I have 4 kids, can they all play together ?

It is only two players at a time via split screen. If you have a Wii U, Super Smash Bros. or Mario Kart 8 are excellent games which 4 players can play at once.

Does Disney Infinity 2.0 (marvel superheroes) on the Wii U support Off-TV play? Has this been confirmed?

Yes. You can play on the GamePad without the TV. This is only true in single player though, if you play with more than one player then it will be split screen on the TV only.

can you use 2.0 originals on the marvel base

You can use disney 2.0 originals on the marvel base along with disney 1.0. The only thing you can not use is disney 1.0 playsets. All others will work.
