Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter ​​​​​​​

Excellent product and what you expect from Apple. More expensive than third party versions and works well converting from thunderbolt 2 to USB-C/thunderbolt 3 for a docking station.

I bought this for my Apple 27” Thunderbolt Display. It works just as it should, perfect fit - recommended.

Works well and does what its supposed to but very pricy

Use this to get a target display on my old iMac. Works really well as expected. It’s an Apple product. Pricing is a wee bit high but it is what you need to make this work.

This adaptor is crucial for connecting such as the APPLE MAC MINI 2024 to older equipment. It enables the MAC MINI's Thunderbolt 4 ports to interface with Thunderbolt 2 cables. This becomes important when wishing to use an existing Apple Thunderbolt Display (2015), only having a Thunderbolt 2 male plug, seamlessly connecting it to the MAC MINI with perfect imaging compatibility. Additionally useful is that this gives the MINI access to USB A devices (such as memory keys) via the socket on the back of the Thunderbolt display itself, which otherwise could not be used with the MINI's ports (USB C). Equally encouraging is the compatibility this gives with Thunderbolt 2 ports on older LaCie Hard Drives. To this end, having first tested these compatibilities, I immediately ordered a second adaptor to be able to link drives, monitor, and the MAC MINI as one system. It is lucky if one has existing Thunderbolt 2 cables, as Apple does not supply them any more. It will be difficult to find any still available for sale new.

Used it to connect my old firewire interface to my laptop using this converter and a firewire to thunderbolt 2 converter . No issues with it . Saves me having to spend hundreds on a new audio interface

Works faultlessly, but insane price!

Certes l’adaptateur est cher, mais après avoir acheté un adaptateur beaucoup moins cher (mais qui n’était pas du Thunderbolt bout à bout), j’ai cru devoir changer mon écran (un mac display Thunderbolt - qui a déjà presque 10 mais qui est comme neuf!). En fait, cher ou pas, l’adaptateur marche bien et comme tous les produits Apple, il est costaud e le prix va être vite amorti. Un bon investissement.

Works perfectly for my needs. I have a 4K Thunderbolt Display and teamed with my M2 MBP, I have the versatility of a laptop for travel, with the huge desktop monitor in my office. Usual high quality Apple product
