I've used it as a basic stand for my Samsung S8+ and had it wrapped around various items when using it outside my flat, and it's been great and has lasted very well thus far. With all the use it's had, there's not a dent or scratch or mark on it. It seems to be very durable. It's stable, providing one is sensible - no overloading it, or precariously trying to balance it. It is mostly used with my phone, but I've also used it with my Nikon Coolpix P500 camera and it's handled the weight with ease. I haven't tried it but already know it wouldn't be able to cope with the weight of my Nikon D750, especially with lenses. It's small enough to easily fit in my camera bags, and is light-weight. The holder can be adjusted to hold phones in portrait and landscape, and the sprung 'clip' securely holds any standard smartphone. I've had it positioned with the legs splayed to retain a low centre of gravity in high wind, had it stood at full extension as a tripod, and had the legs wrapped around various bars eg, on the balcony, a railing, etc. It has stayed put in all circumstances. The bluetooth remote is a nice touch, and worked instantly with my Samsung S8+ phone. Can't comment on how easy it would be to use with other phones. Should it break, or I need to buy one as a gift, I would buy this one again. Superb quality from Amazon Basics, as always.

Very good. Generally the "Amazon Choice" options are well worth choosing and this was no exception. Within reason it sturdily holds my phone in a variety of positions and is easy to adjust. You can wrap the legs around other objects to hold in more positions as well. I bought an adaptor and have used my GoPro on it as well with equal success There are probably other designs that have a greater range of movement and stability but I suspect that these are a lot ore expensive As a casual user I am very happy with this and it does what I want I have not used the Remote so can't comment on that

A great device for taking snaps that are difficult to arrange while holding the phone, such as bird feeding (when they aren’t perching on the phone itself!). The remote pairs easily with the phone’s bluetooth using the code in the instructions, and flashes a small blue light when you switch it on to show that it is working. The foam-lined holding bracket is perfect for securing an iPhone SE, being sprung loaded, and can be set up for portrait or landscape format, and the legs are light but sturdy and very adjustable. The holding arm allows complete tilt adjustment of the phone for the perfect angle for the pic, while the securing wheel tightens the phone bracket to just where you need it. The legs are also useful as a handle for holding the phone when shooting video clips. Very handy device.

Quite good, brilliant for connecting to chairs/fences etc, to enable photo-taking at random angles. The piece that holds the phone is not so good, and has a tendancy to move out of place super-easily. This means shots can end up on a wonky angle which is irritating. 3/5, 'not bad'.

I chose this option as it was cheaper than the others and I originally only intended to use it to hold my phone whilst playing videos for my child - safely out of reach. However I love the ease of use and intend to use for selfies and filming too. Pros ✔️ strong grip on any phone size - sturdy sliding grip to adjust to any width ✔️ option of portrait or landscape hold ✔️ flexible but strong arms to anchor to any surface ✔️ very easy set up - simply screw mount to arms and it’s ready to go ✔️ excellent price No cons to name so far! Haven’t tried the remote so can’t comment on the function.

Hab mir das Amazon Basics Stativ für schnelle Handyfotos und kleine Videos geholt – und muss sagen: Für den Preis echt top. Die Beine sind flexibel, man kann das Teil überall dranhängen, egal ob Fahrradlenker, Stuhl oder Ast. Hält überraschend stabil. Die kleine Fernbedienung ist mega praktisch, gerade für Gruppenfotos oder wenn man allein filmt. Verbindung klappt sofort. Für Smartphones völlig ausreichend, auch kleine Kameras packt es locker. Natürlich kein High-End-Profi-Stativ, aber wer einfach was Leichtes und Flexibles für unterwegs sucht, wird hier happy. Für den Preis kann man echt nichts falsch machen.

What a clever, practical and awesome device! I love the small size and portability of this flexible (legs) tripod. And my iPhone 15 Plus fits beautifully, even with the case on! But what I may love as much, or even more, is the tiny remote (clicker) I paired with my phone. So cool to just “click” the button, and it takes your photo! Just click away!! You don’t need to run to your phone ever to set the self-timer. And works just as great when taking a selfie, again, no need to use the self-timer (if you have your remote handy or close by.) And it’s super easy to pair ( Bluetooth) with your phone. Took maybe 30-60 seconds to connect, and now it’s permanently paired with my iPhone! Of course this is wireless, so WiFi must be around somewhere in your home or outdoors, to use the remote clicker. But I bought the small tripod itself specifically to take a Passport photo (from an approved app), so I will need to stand back around 5 feet in front of the camera. That way, I can first take picture after picture, if I want, until I find the one I like best and upload that picture to the Passport app (which approves your picture (or not) initially - and if the app approves your pic, it changes your uploaded photo to an all white background (and brightens or lightens the photo to Passport standards), AND crops your photo to proper Passport sizing; how terrific is that? And the tripod’s small, flexible legs are so practical - I will be attaching mine to my blinds, that are on a window that provides great, natural light for picture taking. It will be great to bend (contort, ha) the legs at the correct height, for me to then stand 5 feet away at the correct distance and angle for picture taking. Can’t wait to looking beautiful again with my new (renewed) Passport - thanks to a wonderful, easy app I discovered AND with this flexible tripod with remote control. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: If there is any criticism, the instructions you receive in the box are terrible, lol. They send in multiple languages and the English part is just poorly instructed in general. And nothing that explains the wireless remote and pairing process - or not in an understandable manner.. Fortunately, I’m tech savvy enough to figure out or do a quick Google search, but the manufacturer needs to re-write the paper instructions you receive. And the video online is great to showcase how the tripod works in general (super easy to set up), but they need to show someone pairing with their phone and then taking pics with the remote - please add to your “how to” video - you’ll get even more sales that way ;-) But the product itself is an A+.
