Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone 2026 Upgrade USB A/USB-C

This wireless CarPlay adapter checks does exactly what I was searching for. I would always plug my phone in no matter how short of a trip I was taking. In time I would start to experience issues with the cable connectivity to my phone. Those days are over! Now I can leave my phone in my pocket or set it in the console and it automatically connects within a few seconds. Another aspect that drew me towards this adapter was its size. This adapter is fairly small and doesn’t get in the way at all. My vehicle is a 5th gen 4Runner which is CarPlay compatible and this device works very well. On occasion when the head unit starts up, the screen remains dark. Pulling the dongle out of the USB port and putting it back in seems to instantly fix the connection issue and CarPlay starts up without fail. By on occasion I’m talking every 20-30 times I start the car. I will take this minor inconvenience any day over the wired connection. I’ve read other reviews where lag is an issue. I haven’t really noticed that with this device. I suppose there is a slight delay when skipping songs through Pandora however it doesn’t bother me any. The cost of this device is well worth the ease and convenience to add wireless CarPlay to your head unit.

This is an easy to install device that WiFi connects your phone to your car screen. No need for a usb cable, if your car can accept car play, etc via WiFi.

Ease of setup just plug it in and sometimes forget it. I rated it a 4 stars because of two reasons the device works as advertised but it does crash sometimes. Don’t get me wrong I still use this daily. But once a month I start the my Cx5 and it just won’t load into CarPlay stuck at logo screen. But quick fix just unplugged it and plugged it back in. Other than that performance the audio latency I never had any problems with that. I did start to look if there was a update for the software built into the usb drive but only thing I could find is you have to email customer support and right now I just wish it was on a website. Just seems like a pain to connect with support for an update.

DO. NOT. BUY. !!! trust me! You will not use it because its drawbacks after 30 days of daily "use". You will get in your car and it will not connect, you will have to disconnect the thing, plug in your phone, re-start Bluetooth on your new iPhone, the signla will be delayed significantly enough that you cannot watch videos, it will drive you NUTS!!! You'll go through the "convincing yourself that it isn't that bad" phase, then the "I hate that the connection is not smooth, but i can get used to it" phase, then the "i hate this thing, but I can't return it now, it's too late" phase.... then ultimately, you will RIP IT OFF your car and chuck it on the floor of the passenger seat as you drive, completely irritated, with the realization that you knew all along that a device like this would not give you the experience you were expecting. You are warned.

ive been using this for almost a year and is perfect. Connect in 4-5 seconds and works flawlesly. I use this on my Honda Civic 2017 since it has a wired apple carplay and i dont like having to plug it in every time. I have access to several brands of car, from chevy to mercedes benz. and i must say i dont notice any difference between this wireless connection and the ones that come standards in those vehicles. great product. I happens maybe once a month where it does not connect, but i believe thats a apple defect and not the product since apple suck

Had to get this to have CarPlay on the 2023 Tacoma. I came across it in a YouTube video and it was highly recommended. It’s easy to set up and get going so two thumbs up! It’s also way cheaper than getting a new stereo or whatever you’d have to do to have CarPlay, so there’s that.

I bought this CarPlay adapter for my 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium (Gen 5) a little over a year ago because I was tired of having my iPhone 11 tethered to the bottom of the dash by a charger cable flopping around. Took a few tries but once my iPhone got configured, it's been no problem. Originally I would have to shut off my ExpressVPN to get it to connect, but I'm guessing ExpressVPN has done something that now eliminates the need to shut it off, as I now just leave it on in the background with no problem. Best endorsement I can give for this adapter is I never even think of it...it works seamlessly. Highly recommend.

This totally fixed my one gripe about my 2022 Mazda CX-5, which was not having wireless CarPlay. It provides an incredibly reliable connection and the device itself is super compact, shorter than even the typical USB thumb drive. One minor issue I do have with it is that it doesn’t seem to support easy switching between phones. For example, if your spouse’s phone is in the car and you want to connect to their phone instead of your own, you have to unpair yours and re-pair theirs and vice versa. It would be nice if the software allowed you to automatically select which paired phone you want to connect with when multiple are present. Other than that, this is an awesome CarPlay adapter!
