Added a dab of loctite to each of the threads for the magnet heads, after doing so these were perfect and helped me retrieve countless lost tools and bolts from our car's underpans. Works good, Easy to use, Magnet strength is weak, Long enough to reach around a v12 engine and scrape around the bottom aero pan for those lost tools.

Brought to retrieve screws dropped into an appliance I worked on. Worked great, has a strong magnet. Will keep in the tool box for future use. The only thing I kinda wish is had was a hole on the handle so I could hang it in the shed

I bought these, but for a not so obvious purpose. I am paraplegic and confined to a motorized chair. I use a grabber reacher to pick things up that I drop on the floor, and I drop everything! But what happens when I drop my grabber? I go get the grabber I keep in another room to pick up the first grabber, and this goes on until all my grabbers are on the floor along with the object I was originally trying to pick up. Worst of all, my grabbers are all made out of aluminum, so even a magnetic telescoping tool will not work…unless I put magnets on my grabbers and keep this telescoping magnet on my chair. Grabbers are not easily stowed on a wheelchair, but this device solves all my problems! Gave the 2nd one to my son who uses it to pick up dropped tools, nuts, bolts, and screws. We both love it though we question the balance of the tool if you try to use the pocket clip, which cost this review a star.
