Good product
I researched for awhile & this trimmer came up as one of the best.I have used it twice now & I like it.It has very good battery life but as long as I get an hour or so max per use depending on what I’m doing that is adequate for me.With that said the battery life far exceeds that. The only thing I can say that I don’t like or I’m having trouble with is the on off button.I find where I want to hold the trimmer I keep turning it off.I am adjusting though so hopefully it’s not a issue.A sliding switch would be better but not a deal breaker.I shave my head with it & would recommend purchasing the zero blade. The lowest setting with the provided blade is good but there’s a noticeable difference with the zero blade.I do recommend this trimmer.

Display upgrade and sharp attachments
The only change from a v1 that I can see is that it has a subjectively better display (which definitely did not need to be upgraded) and the attachments which are scratching the skin because of rough plastic edges. The display was fine and had a large font, very easy to read even from the mirror reflection. Now it is a fancy looking colored display with a small font. The battery in my v1 died completely after 2 years of once-a-week use. I it won't happen to this newer revision UPDATE: Battery died after 5 months. I observed 50% dropping to 0% in a matter of seconds while it was disabled. Charged it only once and used once a week

Best beard trimmer!
Love this beard trimmer. Worth the price. It lasts. I had the original version, and I would still have it if I didn’t drop and break it. This new version is just as good, if not better. If you have a bead, and need a good quality trimmer, this is the one. Cuts great, clean and sharp, light weight, no skin irritation, lasting charge, and looks great on the counter.

Check your attachments before use!
This is a PSA and a review. I have overall been very happy with my new Brio trimmer. It works way better than the $20 to $40 cheap trimmers I’ve bought in the past. That being said, I’ve never anticipated or encountered the issue I discovered today with this trimmer. I decided after a couple of months of using this product to try one of the attachments I haven’t used before. As I was trimming, the guard hung up on what I thought were tangles in my beard, but on closer inspection, I discovered a razor-sharp burr approximately a millimeter long on one of the “teeth” of the guard that was actually stabbing into my face and tearing through my skin. As I stated before, I’ve never anticipated or encountered this problem with any of my cheap trimmers that didn’t work as well as this one and would never have imagined the need to check for something like this prior to use. It is a great trimmer, but for the money, I would think there would be some quality control that would eliminate a problem like this. Use with caution!
