I love this wonderful, pure, fragrance fee, sunscreen, and I hope they never stop making it. My skin reacts to most products, even hypoallergenic, I usually feel a stinging, no matter how slight. This formula is one of the very few that causes no reaction at all, and my face feels perfectly moisturized when I appy it. I love that there are minimal ingredients, you only need a tiny bit, and it is so effective. A staple for me!

Badger Face Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Excellent! I’ve tried several different mineral sunscreens for my face and this may be my favorite. Two things that impressed me about the product - it went on smoothly, and left no white cast. The texture is very smooth, thin. and lightweight. When you put a dab on your finger and brush it against another finger it turns clear, melts, and feels slightly oily. After a few seconds of rubbing it between your finger and thumb the oily feel disappears completely. That followed suit with the packaging that read “weightless” moisturizer mineral sunscreen. The sunscreen went on so easily and smoothly that I couldn’t believe It was mineral. I didn’t have to “rub it in” at all. To various degrees I’ve had to rub in the 5 or 6 mineral screen brands that I’ve tried. So this one was already ranking high on my chart. Once the sunscreen was on my face, it initially felt a little greasy but also very “thin” or lightweight. It didn’t look greasy. Within a few minutes it no longer felt greasy or oily. The next surprise is that it didn’t leave a white cast on my face! Amazing! One of the most difficult things about finding a good mineral sunscreen is finding one that doesn’t leave a white cast. When it came time to remove the sunscreen I held my breath because mineral sunscreens are notoriously difficult to remove, and typical cleansers which are water-based don’t work on oil-based products. Oil cleansers do, followed by a water-based cleanser. Even with an oil-based cleanser it isn’t easy to remove mineral screen. Though it took a little work to remove this mineral screen, as has been my experience with all the other mineral screens I’ve tried, I’d say this was a little easier. Based on my experience with Badger’s Face Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30, I would buy it again.

I feel Badger face sunscreen is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I love how it is lightweight and applies so smoothly. I highly recommend.

I've been hunting for a daily moisturizer with mineral SPF and I think this might be a winner! It goes on a bit greasy and with a bit of a white cast at first, but as you rub it in more both disappear. No unpleasant odor, good coverage, and leaves my skin feeling soft. After a few days of use I am fairly happy with it. It is a plus that it has minimal ingredients so I didn't have to worry about potential allergic reactions to mystery chemicals.

Doesn’t leave an obvious white residue

Can I give this a zero? I'm in my 60's and used many mineral sunscreens over the years but this was the worse purchase ever. Going on vacation and decided to try something new, purchased Badger spf 30 face and used it for the first time today so no surprises while I'm away. Glad I did, it's horrible...was difficult getting it out of the tube, then applied 2 pea sized amounts to my face (test amount) and it just became an oil slick. I tried rubbing it in then thought maybe it'll soak in, after an hour it was still a mess and got into my hair. Had to scrub my face to get it off. I have no idea how this gets decent reviews. And it cost more and I cannot return since it's past the return date, go figure.

I ended up returning this sunscreen. I didn’t like the smell, and it didn’t look good on my skin — it left a noticeable white cast. Even though it’s a mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide and simple ingredients, it just didn’t work for us. It was also hard to convince my kids to use it because of the texture and scent, which is important in our daily routine. I think there are better sunscreens out there that blend more easily and smell nicer. It might work for some people, but it wasn’t the right fit for our family.

This fits the bill for a high factor and unscented sunscreen with no bad ingredients that also happens to have no white residue. However it is very oily and also irritated my eyes (gave me red eyes) after it had been on my face for a while and melted into my eyes with the sweat. Bummer. I really thought I had found the right product for me.
