A genuine find among adult, not-very-sweet biscuits
Yes, these really are "biscuits" rather than cookies; they have no icing, no filling, and are not very sweet. But all the Effie's varieties I've tried are very special, and I expect to keep ordering them. Hazelnut is my favorite so far, pecan and walnut also delicious, oatcake excellent as well, cocoa okay but my least favorite. (I look forward to trying the ginger and corn.) All are crunchy, substantial, and very dry, so go well with coffee.

Effie's is not a cookie, not a cracker. It is however delicious. Since I'm out I will order more. Maybe two boxes.

Great biscuits, came in an envelope that offered almost no protection for the boxes of biscuits inside. Boxes came broken, many broken biscuits. Oh my.

My latest obsession.
Delicious. Crunchy, just a little sweet, limited ingredients and not a lot of sugar. I like the hazelnut and walnut and almond a bit more than the pecan, but that's personal. I can't eat desserts with high sugar and refined flour, so these are a great addition to my very short list of treats.
