I need to know the width of the base (not the roof overhang) as I only have a 6' concrete pad to put it on. Anyone got one they can measure for me?

Thank you for your enquiry, measurements as follows:- W2000mm x D1240mm x H2366mm – 71Kg Post Thickness: 90mm x 90mm Internal measurements – to assist in BBQ placement:- Width – 193 cm (Facing the BBQ shelter, the internal measurement between the inner side of the left leg and the inner side of the right right leg) Depth – 110 cm (From either of the front internal legs to the back leg) External measurements: Width – 202 cm (Facing the BBQ shelter, the external measurement between the outer of the left leg to the outer of the right leg) Depth – 120 cm (From either of the front external outer legs to back outer leg) The roof overhang is minimal. What is the minimum height of standing space at the sides, can a 6ft individual cook under this? Many thanks

the minimum height standing at the side of the shelter is 5ft 10ins - so anyone smaller would have to bend their head and shoulders.

Does all the smoke from the bbq go out through the top vent as we have had problems with other canopies where you just get smoked out?

There will be no problem with the smoke and it’s made of good heavy wood. No need to bolt down and yes the smoke goes out thru the vent at the top. One of the best around.

Does this need fixing to the floor or is it sufficiently heavy to be freestanding?

No, it is does not need fixing to the floor - however ours moved a couple of feet in a high wind one day - but all we did was put the garden seat up against the side and that sorted it . Enjoy - we love ours!

Firt class product

There is nothing to dislike about this BBQ shelter, it has been manufactured to the highest standards from first class materials. It looks fantastic and I am delighted with everything about it. I ordered it on the 23rd August and to my amazement it was delivered before lunch on the 24th August. You could not ask for anything more. not a shelter from the rain BEWEAR

roof has got SPLITS in the boards all the staples holding the boards on are allready RUSTY ???? IT SAYS ON THE ADD QUITE CLEARLEY THIS IS A SHELTER wot for or wot from i dont no i put this together put my BRAND NEW BBQ UNDER IT TO FIND IT SOAKING WET IN THE MOIRNING please can you check the true meaning of the word SHELTER ???? WONT BE BUYING AGAIN dispite it looking ok iT realy ISNT

Really fantastic shelter

Check for condition, before taking it off the pallet.

A good item, but arrived in a very poor state, very heavily stained, so had to have it returned to seller. The new one was better, but still took two hours of cleaning, to get in to a suitable state. Please note this is a problem with the manufacturing and not the supplier. More care should be taken in quality control .

Absolutely brilliant. Easy to put up - though the roof ...

Absolutely brilliant. Easy to put up - though the roof was a bit of a problem at first, but it was OK. Just what we needed for our new garden paving. Sets the whole thing off. Can't wait for the sun now.
