Pretty expensive, but definitely the best tightening spray I have used. Great smell, low residue.

I love the nag champa scent soooo much!!! The texture spray is so helpful when it comes to my super silky smooth texture. Before I got the texture spray I added human hair lock extensions to my hair and locked my natural hair and had them for a week before washing my hair. When I washed they literally fell out and my instant locked hair also came out. Yes my natural hair was short but my hair is so stinking straight I basically washed the locks out of my hair. Dolly locks is helping so much. The texture spray gives my hair the grip it needs and the cleansing spray helps my hair get to that point where it won’t come outs I love dolly locks it is making locking my hair even possible!

My family and I have used Dollylocks for years and it is one of the best for locked hair! The Nag Champa fragrance is my favorite and my child now uses it as well. The quality is amazing. It is light and doesn’t weigh your hair down, while still being hydrating. The unique variety of scents and products makes the entire line special and unique. I absolutely love it!

I was a like sceptic about this at first, but I needed to find a more accessible product to do my sons hair. I washed his hair and did his hair wet, and sprayed his hair with this product. It does dry a little fast, but all I needed to do was spray a little more. I find the smell is just fine, and not strong at all. I don’t like the fact that his hair got very stiff and dry like a strong protein treatment. The stiffness helped with tightening the parts of his dreds that were puffy, but the spray took the softness away. As for the solution in the bottle it settles at the bottom so you will need to shake it, or stir it with a tail comb tip. It has a safety lock for when you aren’t using it (which I like for the sake of having my younger one around). Overall I would recommend this if you need something to quickly spruce up your loose dreds, but I wouldn’t use it each time you’re touching up.

As a hairdresser doing dreads on Caucasian hair for years, I am soooo glad this product came into my life. Gives the hair the texture I need to work will easily. Seems to stay better as well. Also I love the nag champa! It smells like the real stuff. Definitely my go to from now on.

I have been wanting to try the infamous dolly locks products for a long time now, and finally made the purchase (I’m always about that instant gratification so it’s hard to order when things aren’t prime haha). Let me tell you, so far this product is absolutely amazing. I ordered the coconut lime tightening spray and the rosemary peppermint refreshening spray. This is just my first impression as I haven’t had them long enough to use them frequently. The tightening spray feels much like a sea salt spray, which could work for or against you depending on hair type. I have a fairly oily type scalp, but that has changed a bit since getting dreadlocks. So far this is working very well, it is a noticeable difference after spraying. My dreads feel a little drier just after the spray dries but also tighter because of it if that makes sense. It straight up smells like a margarita which is always a fun time. The rosemary mint refreshening spray is basically a 401k away from asking me to marry it. It’s so cooling on the scalp and smells like a crisp, Christmas Eve night minus the family monopoly game your uncle insisted on playing that has been going on for 3 hours. Do I abuse this new hair fragrance power? Possibly. Do I use too much of this product because I love it so much? Definitely.

Love the scent. Haven’t tried it on my hair yet, and trust the brand, but the item arrived without a protector for the sprayer so it sprayed all over inside the bag during transit and I lost some of the product.

I am African American male in his 30's and I love this product!!! Some have complained of stiff, residue build up or an over powering smell that's bad for AA hair but I disagree. I am on my 3rd bottle and for me it has been great! I get regular retwist about every 6-8 weeks,i am about a year into my loc journey so my locks are pretty much loc'd(4- 5 inches in length). I use the coconut lime once a day in the am after I get out of the shower. About 3-4 sprays on each section (front, back, and both sides) and that's it! I haven't seen or felt any stiffness or build up, and it gives my loc's a nice texture ( slightly more coarse feel to them probably from the Hawaiian sea salt 👍🏾👍🏾) but the biggest reason why I keep buying this product is due to its SMELL! The smell is very organic and strong at first but quickly blends and fades away where you wouldn't notice it unless your nose is in my loc's! Great smell and I've gotten nothing but compliments on how my hair smells like hints of coconut/lime! This is a great daily product! Follow the directions and don't spray he whole bottle on your loc's at once and your good! I highly recommend for all ethnicities!!!!
