This particular model is the best iPad Mini keyboard case that I have ever used.There are quite a few things that make it a standout. For starters, the keyboard layout is 95% standard, and the 5% non-standard are the way they are because of the size of the keyboard. They’ve had to overload - _ + = ‘ and “ so that you have to hit CTRL and 7 8 9 0 ; or / to get those keys. Critically, the keys that are overloaded are spatially where they should be on the keyboard if it had been large enough to accommodate the additional keys. This was the right choice, and makes typing with the keyboard very natural and easy to adapt to. The keyboard itself has a great feel and good backlighting. Really, I haven’t seen another keyboard that is anywhere close to this good at this size.The next thing that makes this case a standout, especially for travel, is the protection and flexibility that the case provides for the iPad. The keyboard detaches esasily, at which point the iPad can be used with the kickstand in portrait or landscape modes. And, the case offers a good amount of edge protection to the iPad itself, without adding a huge amount of bulk.The case was pricey for me. It was around $120 CAD delivered. That is a lot for a no-name Chinese iPad keyboard, but having purchased many, many iPad keyboard cases over the years, it is hands down the best iPad Mini case I’ve ever used.Note that the same company makes older, similar versions of this case. The one that charges with USB C rather than the proprietary charger is worth the extra money and bother to buy.

This HOU Keyboard is great for the iPad mini 6/7. I was never a fan of keyboards that needed to be charged separately from the iPads but the battery on this lasts a long time. It's been 3 days and it's still at 100% (Depending on usage). The best part is the that the keyboard detaches and reattaches magnetically. The smaller keyboard size does not affect me at all. Keys even light up and you can pick various colors at 3 different brightnesses. Unlike those magnetic, levitated iPad keyboard cases, this one also protects the iPad mini on ALL sides. If you have an apple pencil, it can attached to the side magnetically through the case. Probably the only downside is that there's no scroll pad (if you really use one). There's simply no room for it.

This HOU Keyboard Case for iPad mini 7/6 is just what I needed. Both of our laptops quit working within a week of each other. My spouse has an iPad 9, I have an iPad Mini 6. So instead of buying new laptops, we decided to turn our iPads into laptops. All you need is a Keyboard case and maybe a mouse.Apple doesn’t make a keyboard case for the Mini, so I found this. There are so many things to love about this case!1-The iPad is completely protected. This case works like any other case, and fits perfectly. All the ports are easily accessible, and all the buttons work great.2-The case on the iPad has a fold-out stand that works BOTH in landscape AND portrait mode. Big Plus!3-The keyboard portion of this case is removable. I don’t mean you remove it and leave a flap that has to be folded back, either. Completely removable! It reconnects via magnets in both sides of the case.4-The Battery life is wonderful. I’ve been using this every day for a week, and am still at 91%. Granted, I only use it for a couple hours a day. But still… 91%! I’ve charged my iPad mini 3 times in the same amount of time.5-The keyboard has a backlight if you need it. And… it changes color. How cool is that?!So here’s the reason I only gave it 4 stars. The keys tend to stick. Especially the space bar. This is more of an annoyance than anything. But it does make it difficult if you are trying to type normally.One more thing you might have an issue with. Because this keyboard case has to fit the iPad Mini, some of your normal keys had to be “piggybacked” on the number keys on the top. It takes a little while to get used to it, but I didn’t have much trouble (Once I read the user manual). The function key in combination with other keys also allow for some pretty cool functions.I did see a different model of this brand of keyboard case. Yes it was cheaper. However, it used a proprietary charging cord (this on uses USB-C), and I didn’t like the way the keyboard would have to be removed. This one seemed much more sturdy.I highly recommend this HOU Keyboard Case for iPad mini 7/6.

Great product easy to set up and use. Perfect fit for my new iPad mini. Keyboard quality is pretty good for what it is. Fully charged pretty quickly. Best features would have to be the kickstand and the strong magnets. Only con is that the keyboard is flimsy if you’re using the device on your lap, but if you normally use it on a tabletop it’s perfect.

The product is solid! I really like the case and the keyboard, however for some reason it doesn't fit entirely well on my IPad Mini 2024 from day one and it has my eye twitching for the imperfection.I would totally recommend it if it fits you well.

This is by far the best investment I have made for my mini. Its solid. Its comfortable. Its classy. It works perfectly. Makes carrying a universal breeze. It fits great inside my current edc. I just love it. It feels premium. Looks premium. And the fact that it makes my life easier. Deserves more than five stars! I highly recommend! Oh and the bonus. This set exceeded my expectations! The keyboard automatically re-connects every time you turn it on, so you don’t have to go to the Settings/Bluetooth every time —> very cool! The case is sturdy and solid too. The keyboard has a bit of latency but not bad. I really like the backlight under the keyboard, found it useful many nights. It is a bit hard to put iPad mini in the case but how many times do you want to do that, huh? I highly recommend this for iPad mini owners.
