HERCULES Stands GS414B PLUS AGS Tripod Guitar Stand

Having owned a few guitar stands over the years, opted to try a Hercules. Build quality is fantastic; once assembled it’s strong and sturdy (essential). Holds the guitar well and locks in the neck/headstock at the holding-point with an ingenious mechanism. Absolute value for money given that it holds your beloved guitar safely.

This isn't my first Hercules stand. The first one I bought is still in perfect condition after ten years. This type of stand is essential for those 'odd' shaped basses/guitars ie, Thunderbird, Jazz etc as the guitar hangs from the headstock rather than the base of the guitar resting on a platform. I treated myself to a new Jazz bass, so needed another stand, and I didn't even consider any other brand. The Hercules (as mentioned) supports the guitar from the headstock, it also has a great system that closes two little bars/gates across the headstock when you hang the guitar on it which prevents it from being knocked off the stand. They also fold up nicely into a small manageable size. They are also can be adjusted to a good height and will easily accommodate my Thunderbird bass which is VERY long. Yes, I guess they are a little pricey, but consider the price of a good quality instrument - you don't want to take a chance with anything other than a top quality stand.

I have had a cheap stand for years but the padding wasn’t giving the guitar enough support so looked at lots of reviews and picked the Hercules stand. Well I’m so pleased I got this. Makes my old one look like meccano, can’t believe I was happy with putting my guitar on it :-/ This stand is so well made and I love the locking mechanism. I have no intention of transporting it around so fold ability isn’t something i need to consider. Just wished I’d switched sooner even though it’s not cheap. Guess you get what you pay for.

Bought this for my Taylor acoustic guitar. It’s perfect for what I needed. Really well padded and sturdy. Easy to get guitar in and out by lifting the neck. High quality as always from Hercules! So pleased with my purchase!

The stand is sturdy and have that good quality feel - it's very comfortable and quick to take the guitar out and put it back in. However, as this is made to fit all guitars, it didn't quite fit my Fender Jag. What I mean by that is the back of the grip seems too high to the point of making the guitar rest on the first (low E) tuner and I don't think that's very healthy for the guitar itself. In the end, I had to make a small "improvement" with a stanley knife - see the photos. I'm not sure why this back "rest" is so thick but I guess they can't test it with all the guitars that are out there so I'm not too bothered about that. Overall, really happy with it.

Nobody can have too many guitars but they need to be stored with care. Hooks on walls, or leaving them in their cases turns them into unplayed ornaments in my experience. The Hercules stand is easy to assemble, come with variable height for longer necks and a clever clampy thing at the top that stop the instrument dropping onto the floor. Taking the guitar off the stand is simple - lift it upwards and the clampy thing disengages allowing instant access to your inner Steve, Joe, Yngwe or Matt.

C’est le deuxième stand que j’achète de cette marque qui est super Le 414, a une petite différence avec le 412, le 414 possède une mousse qui protège les pieds et n’a plus de support derrière la guitare, mais c’est aussi bien super content Produits très pratique et très solide Surtout très stable, et retiens bien la guitare avec la fermeture automatique

長年安いのを使ってて取り出す時にいちいちスタンドがグラグラするのが小さなストレスだったので、安定感を期待して買って正解でした。高いギターに買い換えたのでよかったです。弾く機会が多い方には特にお勧めですね。ずっと使えそうです。

Muy resistente, había comprado el otro pero se descompuso rápido de dónde se cuelga por un resorte que lleva, pero este es más resistente 👌🏽
