Timex 40mm Reclaim Ocean Watch

In my opinion, that green of the watch itself looks better than in the photos. It's ironic that there is a watch named 'Reclaim Ocean' which has water resistance of only 3 bars but that's just Timex marketing team being uninspired. The indiglo light also works great. In silence you can hear the ticking sound if your wrist is "around the chest" distance. I like hearing it, it's calming. With some ambient noise you need to bring the watch close to your ear to hear it. The material is light, it doesn't feel heavy on the wrist. It depends what you want, sometimes I don't want to feel any heaviness, sometimes I do which is one of the reasons why I have multiple watches. I'm happy to have added this to my small collection, that green is one of the best I've ever seen on a watch.

Great watch. So comfortable, easy to read, backlight, very comfortable strap. The casing is made from ocean bound recycled plastic (except the stainless steel back, - which is covered by the strap so you won't get an allergic reaction from the metal, if you do get such allergies). The box branding is "From waste to wrist". It's novel idea and the watch itself is beautiful - far nicer than it appears in the photographs. It's effortless to wear. I love it. It has just what you need and no more and it's so well made.

Really cool watch, also suitable for a kid, bought for my 10 year old and he loves it! It also has a backlight to see it in the dark!

Great little watch; wasn’t sure that I made a wise purchase, when looking at the reviews, but it’s an awesome looking, simple, light quartz watch that lights up (backlight activated by pressing the crown) and has the date too. Would highly recommend.

Worth the full price. A steal at what I paid. Well made with a fair weight for an Ocean Plastic watch. Good setting action, no play and stays where set. Semi NATO band and intricate polished steel back. The seconds do not deviate from the marks. Indigo and luminous hands. You need to realise what it's made of and handle it to appreciate it fully. Excellent.

I like the concept, it’s a way to showcase the growing plastic pollution in the oceans. It’s a neat watch and well put together, in daylight there is not enough contrast between the face and the markings on the face. It’s much easier to reads at night using the indiglo feature.
