A very impressive sound system!
First of all, it feels and looks discrete and very high quality. Here are the good points: Itโs dead easy to connect, we have a Samsung smart telly, with an HDMI(ARC) socket, which connects with the HDMI lead they include. We could have used the optical lead, but then we would have had to use two remotes. This way, with ARC, the TV remote controls the sound bar system as well as the TV. The front speakers are on little tables a couple of feet either side of the telly, the rear subwoofer is behind the settee. The rear surround sound speakers plug into the sub woofer, which of course is wireless. This solved the problem of routing speaker wires from the telly round the room to behind the settee. The speaker wires they supply have phono connectors so itโs all very neat and simple, with no splicing needed. The sound is amazing. Our room is 15โ x 23โ and when we watch a film, the sound is all around, and above (somehow, and I donโt understand how), the bass is thunderous and shakes the room! The different options are excellent - with Bluetooth for streaming, and a comprehensive set of options on the remote control. Our previous system was a 100 watt Pioneer 5.1 and after eight years it gave up the ghost. This is better sounding and it certainly deals with those difficult-to-hear dialogues that sometimes plague us these days, when actors canโt be bothered to speak up clearly. The main bar, is so tidy and discrete it sits in front of the TV stand and really isnโt noticeable but, my goodness, the sound it puts out is brilliant! There are touch buttons discretely placed on top for volume up and down, on and off, and Bluetooth. There is a USB socket in the back and Iโve prepared some music selections on memory sticks which I put in to give us background music, or as a full performance, when it makes us feel as if weโre int he middle of the orchestra. The sound is clean and powerful. For ordinary TV, not films, we find the GAME setting best for us. Then thereโs the iPhone app which allows us to customise and fine tune everything. We also have the main buttons on the app, replicating the ones on top of the bar. On this app, you can create and name customised settings that suit you, using the very comprehensive equaliser page, but they already include, Music, Game, Movies, Sport and Speech. On the remote control there is button not mentioned in the manual, and that synthesises surround sound for sources (like music on the USB stick) that donโt come with surround sound coding. This puts music all round you. There are no bad points. But there is one feature I would change: When it comes on and goes off, it plays a loudish ding dong sound, and I would like the option to silence it. Maybe an update will do that. This system is Chinese manufacturing excellence at itโs absolute best - it will never satisfy the ardent purists who want turntables and amplifiers with valves, but for the rest of us, itโs absolutely perfect.

Highly Recommended
The 7.1 system delivers truly immersive, crystal-clear audio. Setup was a breeze, the build quality feels premium, and the bass and treble are perfectly balanced. Whether itโs movies, music, or games, everything sounds incredible. This system completely transforms home entertainmentโhighly recommended!

Quality piece of kit
I got this for my front room to make a home cinema with a 75" TV and I've got to say I'm impressed if you position the rear speakers correctly to ear height the sound integration is exceptional quality for the price and when I tested the bass subwoofer on a heavy bass song it was incredible and I only put the volume at 32 I use in everyday life at volume 6 to 8 but this has power far higher than the average user would ever need

Better than the competitor at the same price
Good surround. I know it's not like the premium setups, but you get 7.1 surround sound where you can attach it to the room. It's much more sleek and it's good for the money. It's like the price of a 4.1 system from LG, but you get 7.1. It's perfect for my room, and the bass is quite high. I keep it at minus 2. I'm in a small room.

Premium sound at a budget price
Had it for about a week now and have tried it on a number of different platforms (xbox series x and PS5, Netflix, YouTube & music) and wow. What a great investment this was. The subwoofer alone has so much heft to it that I worry i'm annoying my neighbours even on low volume. For the price point on offer here, even at it original price it's such great value. Whilst Sonos may hold may hold the crown for a premium purchase, you honestly cannot go wrong with this. Very, very Impressed and feel like I could start my own Nightclub.

Sounds good, but far from the easiest customer experience
I've had this soundbar for a week now, and it has already been quite a journey. I excitedly unpacked it, and connected it up to my Fire TV 4K and projector. The sound immediately sprang to life, and a few seconds later, the projector picture appeared, so it looked like everything was going to be a piece of cake to set up. I powered up the subwoofer and it connected immediately too, all very impressive. Then I decided to install the app on my Android phone. This connected to the soundbar, and asked me to install a firmware upgrade. I kicked this off, and a few minutes later it finished. The soundbar restarted, and was completely non-functional. No sound, no picture. After rechecking and retesting everything, I took to the internet to look for support, and found a page on Ultimea website (which Amazon unfortunately won't allow me to link to in this review) entitled "No Sound via HDMI After Upgrading Poseidon D80 from V28 to V33 or V37 update?" that described the problem exactly. This is evidently a recurring problem that has been known about for months, so why hasn't this been resolved already? I can see at least one other reviewer of the product here on Amazon fell foul of this same problem, and perhaps this contributes towards the "frequently returned item" warning that Amazon displays at the top of its page. I contacted Ultimea support, who were reasonably responsive and helpful, and arranged for the firmware update to be sent to me, "within one to two business days." Were they planning to post it to me?? It took two full days for the update to appear, but it did in the end turn up in the app, and after installing it I was relieved to find that everything appeared to be working again. This certainly doesn't leave a good first impression though, and I'm not sure I will want to upgrade the firmware again in the future, just in case something similar happens. So with that out of the way, how does it sound? To my non-audiophile-ears, it sounds very good. I watched a scene of Jack Ryan set in a marketplace, and I could clearly hear sound coming from all around me, front and behind. It sounds nice playing music, and gives a lot more immersion than the soundbar I had previously been using. It's also substantially louder than I was expecting. Let's just hope it keeps working! For information, my setup is a series of source devices (Fire TV 4K, Sky Q, PS4) connected to an HDMI switcher. From the switcher they connect to the HDMI input of the soundbar, and then from the soundbar's HDMI output to the HDMI in port of my Epson projector. To the best of my knowledge the projector does not have ARC or eARC support, but everything still seems to be working fine even so. It's slightly annoying that none of the programmable remote control devices (including the Fire TV remote and the Sky Q remote) appear to have any support for the device, having more remote controls is the last thing I want. I have found that it can be controlled via CEC however, so my Fire TV remote is able to power it on and change the volume, which is pretty much all I need it to do.

Inexpensive but very good sound bar
Didn't know what to expect from this has I've not really heard of the make. But I've been really surprised how good it is. Nicely boxed, I'm a bit of a sucker for nice packaging. Easily set up, as it plug and play. The sound it very subtle, not over powering. The unit is loud, my old sound bar was set at 24/26 this volume level is set at 8. I've had it a over a month and I'm still taken by surprise when watching a film and the sound is behind me, it really is surround sound. Overall an excellent unit, well worth the money.
