From the Publisher Review: Best - Best read Review: A twisted thriller where everyone lies - It is becoming more and more evident that I have a weak spot for thrillers. Every time I pick one up, I usually abandon whatever book I am reading for the next 48 hours (provided the thriller is good, of course). No One Saw A Thing by Andrea Mara was a journey, really. We go from one suspect to another with such speed that it gave me reading whiplash, but in a good way. With each chapter, secrets unravel with the speed of a bullet train. This book was a page-turner from start to finish. The book is a chronicle of how easy for the trust to erode in anny relatinoship, whether it is a marriage or decades old friendship. One misstep can have repurcussions for a life time, and that’s something to remember!

Good book
Quite engaging. Good story... but ending was a bit... could have been better. But yes, a good read.

A gripping read
A gripping thriller that plunges readers into every parent’s worst nightmare. When Sive, an Irish mother visiting London with her family is separated from her two young daughters, her world shatters. The train doors close, leaving her stranded as her children vanish. Though her toddler Bea reappears at the next stop, six year old Faye is nowhere to be found. What follows is a harrowing race against time, interlaced with flashbacks to a university friends’ reunion that unravels a web of buried secrets. The author masterfully weaves dual timelines, shifting between the frantic search for Faye and the simmering tensions among the group of old acquaintances where lies, infidelity and a tragic past collide. The narrative’s relentless tension and layered mysteries, from a decades-old house fire to blackmail schemes while the chilling question lingers- How could a child disappear in a city of millions without a single witness? Andrea Mara’s strength lies in her ability to craft ordinary characters thrust into extraordinary chaos. Sive emerges as a relatable anchor, her desperation palpable as she navigates guilt and suspicion while her husband Aaron’s polished facade cracks under the weight of hidden truths. The supporting cast serves to amplify the story’s central theme i.e. the fragility of trust. The final act delivers a satisfying payoff, tying together threads of deception with a jaw dropping revelation. The pacing oscillates deftly between slow-burn character dynamics and heart pounding urgency, culminating in a climax that challenges perceptions of guilt and innocence. ‘No One Saw a Thing’ is more than a missing-child thriller, it’s a sharp exploration of how lies fester and loyalties fracture. The novel is a haunting reminder that sometimes the most terrifying threats are the ones we never see coming.

The tension is there and very much palpable!
"No One Saw a Thing" is truly spectacular! The tension is there and very much palpable. The book has everything you could hope for in a mystery thriller and some more. Binding all the amazing sub-plots, twists, shady characters, and their motives is excellent writing that makes them all shine together, delivering a compelling read. There’s a discovery, a new twist every now and then, which throws the current tangent off course. There are many suspects—some are visible throughout the story, while others remain hidden until the end. Almost all the characters are flawed, and the search for Faye keeps taking unexpected turns. The pace is quick, and the stakes are high.
