Safety Gas Lighter - No need for matches By Everbright Plus

Great just what I needed to light my candles and it already has lighter fuel in it

Bought this safety gas lighter for my wife, who for some reason really struggles to light candles in pots—always tipping them upside down and cursing like a sailor. This thing's a hero: long wand reaches deep without the hassle, one-flick ignition works every time, no child-lock faff, and the adjustable flame's steady for pots or jars. She's chuffed now, no more frustration. Worth it all day long.

Works well but looks cheap and was cheap price wise

I had to buy this as my husband broke my last one. I promptly forgot to order gas to use in it. I needn't have worried because this came already filled! I was so happy when I wanted to light a candle, remembered the lack of gas, and then found that this had gas in it. The lighter works well, is quite simple to press and there is a safety feature too. There is a little sliding button that you can use to stop little ones being able to activate this safety gas lighter at all. This is a fantastic feature, especially given the low low price. I was really pleased with the quality of this gas lighter. It works fantastic well, is comfortable to hold and it does what I need it to do.

Very prompt delivery, sent by Royal Mail 2nd class. Ordered Friday, delivered Monday. I bought it for sealing threads on macrame bracelets. Good that the flame is adjustable. Had fuel in it when it came. Would recommend

But if you're buying it for the lock, don't bother. It's useless, impossible to push completely to one side, and comes undone with any pressure at all on the trigger. Otherwise, it works fine and the flame adjustment works well. Just don't expect it to be childproof.

These are really good, and a very good price for a pair. I hadn't quite taken on board that in the pair are 2 sizes, which is great, since the longer one is more suited to lighting hobs, whereas the smaller is great for candles, and is just small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket if you need it to. They seem of at least as good quality as similar products, and certainly at this price. I've even had 'designer' kitchen lighters for £10-£15 which were difficult to use, wouldn't refill properly and broke after a couple of months! These lighters show no signs of premature aging at all. Also, if you've ever used a normal lighter to light your hob, you've probably had a smoker friend walk off with it, leaving you unable to cook! Not so with these - nobody's going to try to pretend they brought it with them!
