Two rival schools stand next door to each other: one for elite ladies, one for good-for-nothing boys. But one of those boys might just be a naturally chivalrous diamond in the rough, and one of those girls might be a little more open-minded than is proper ... This cute and twisty manga spin on Romeo and Juliet is the latest hit in Japan, coming to print from a successful digital-first release! Capulet & Montague, Chidori & Kikyo Chidori High is a boys' school that takes in the dregs of society with the lowest grades. Next door stands Kikyo Girls' High, where the wealthy, high-class families send their precious daughters. Chidori second-year Rintaro, who has a fierce face but a gentle heart, is helping at his family's patisserie when he meets a girl named Kaoruko. The two hit it off right away...but this blissful peace is quickly disturbed when Rintaro discovers that Kaoruko is actually a student at Kikyo. Worse, she doesn't seem to realize what a huge problem this really is! Will these two be able to forge a path for themselves, and sidestep the traps (metaphorical and literal) laid by their classmates? Review: No complaints - My daughter loves these books Review: Great Manga Series - I'm really enjoying this manga series. Definitely Romeo and Juliette vibe without the drama. Just young people from different backgrounds. Package arrived safely and secure. Great vendor

So sweet
This series keeps getting sweeter. First, the group celebrates Saku’s birthday—with Rintaro’s cake, which is a success—and the gloomy boy is moved by his friends’ caring. There’s also something starting between him and Subaru. The boys share how they first met, which is a very wholesome story. We also get to witness the happiness of Rintaro’s parents that their son finally has friends, after being so lonely before, and that he’s happy. And Rintaro is determined to learn to bake cakes to bring joy to people. In the last story, the boys accidentally go to a restaurant where Kaoruko works, and the maternal owner gives a stamp of approval to Rintaro. This was a lovely volume. There wasn’t any alone time for Rintaro and Kaoruko, except the short extra story. It was a small letdown, as the two have just started dating. But the group is so fun together that I didn’t mind. I don’t care if things ever progress from here, as long as there are these happy, wholesome stories.
