Fresh and sweet smelling and arrived very quickly

Bought for a long narrow border that gets very dry... very pleased with this ornamental bark mulch. It was packed full, nice and dry and easy to use... not like the soaking wet stinking rubbish that garden centres supply!! Would highly recommend.

Last time I bought bark chips to cover an area, the product I purchased (I won't mention who or what) was horrifically smelly. I didn't want to go near the area and I'm sure my neighbours weren't impressed with the strong smell coming from it either. I use the chips for the area where my dogs go to pee and poo. With the last product, my dog refused to go there for over a week because the smell from the previous product was so strong. With this product there was no really discernible smell and the chip quality was much better as the other product. Yes, it was more expensive, but I'm glad I paid the extra. I would have been more than happy to also use it as mulch on my garden for the plants. And it gave good coverage for the area I used it on. I'd happily recommend it to others.

It helps to preserve moisture in the soil - especially as my garden is windy. I found it expensive to lay thickly to prevent weeds, but even a thin layer has helped. If you don't like the smell, it soon disappears.

I opened the bag and was hit by delicious smell of fresh bark.. Good colour, mid brown, and neither too large or too small. Easy to handle and looked good too. Very pleased.

Very obvious! Product used to improve the appearance and ease of managing my garden. It worked!! Also deliery on time which was very much appreciated.

Not much to say as have not used yet as awaiting dilivery of plants before use. It appears from the bag that it will do the job well but time will tell
