This really is easy to use and works as advertised. So simple, drop in the paint color you want and simply push it along the tree you have limbed and ready to cut into log rounds. I also use this to make long cuts to pick up with the tractor grapple and stack for later use, gives me a clean cut off so I do not wind up with left over pieces. Worth the money, saves you time and makes each log the same length within minutes.

When you are out in the woods bucking up trees, efficiency is everything. I’ve found that the Mingo tool is an absolute must-have when out in the woods. Instead of stopping to measure with a tape or "eyeballing" your cuts, this tool allows you to mark your entire log in seconds. Ok, this thing is great. I've always just eyeballed my stove length when bucking but wanted to make thing neater when stacking. I deducted one star because I immediately lost the wing nut on the drive to where I was cutting firewood riding my atv. Thankfully the bolt stayed in place and I replaced it with a washer and nylon lock nut.

I like the utility of this and I was going to design the same thing and thought I wonder if anybody makes something like this. It works flawless. I have used it for several things besides marking wood. I used it for spacings in the garden and marking where to dig with the excavator. I need to make a long handle for the latter though. I like that you can customize it for different spacings. The color makes it easy to find if laid down in woods or tall grass.

This is a tool all fire wood cutters should have. It measures the wood correctly. It's easy to work and affective. It so much easier then marking wood with chalk.

Works well for making uniform fire wood the more you use it the better you like it you learn the best way to use it way better than having a piece of something stuck to your saw always getting in the way when this one wears out I will buy another one of these but I don’t see it happening any time soon

I ordered this as we live in upstate New York. Been doing it the old fashion way until someone showed me this. What a great idea! Works great. Make sure you use the right paint!

Very pricey for the quality of the unit. Very expensive to buy other marking sizes as well. It is fast and convenient to use though. Comes down to what you are willing to pay to save a little time to mark for uniform cuts. I personally wish it was a little beefier and more solid.

Works as described, great idea. I got the 14" wheel and sprays paint every 14" to mark for cutting. Makes for quicker cutting. Love this thing, wish I had long ago
