Best Steamer I have owned!
I have had three different types of steamers and the Dupray definitely the best investment for cleaning my house. I use to have a MLMLANT handheld steamer that was okay but had a small tank so it had to be refilled alot. The MLMLANT steamer put some pressure on my wrists when I used it because it became a little heavy after holding for more than 10 minutes so it wasn't practical to use for long periods or to clean big areas such as carpets, flooring, large windows. The other steamer I had was H20 HD steam cleaner which was a lot better to use to clean windows, oven doors, carpets etc but I didn't like the lack of manoeuvring you get with the steamer because how it is designed. The water tank for H20 HD was surprisingly small. I was also put off from using the steamer because the filter has to be regularly replaced! In my own personal experience the Dupray is a lot superior than the other steamers. Here are several reasons why I prefer Dupray Neat steamer: 1. It's easier to use and manoeuvre around the house 2. The water tank is reasonably big 1.2 litres which gives about 40 minutes or more for cleaning 3. The steamer heats up quickly, 4. It is excellent for deep cleaning built up grime and dirt. 5. Can use white vinegar to filter the tank from build up so a lot more practical and cheaper then purchasing replacement filters. 6. Easy to clean windows without much time or effort. I've yet to use Dupray for the whole house but so far it has been good to use on my windows, oven, kitchen floor, bathroom taps. I'm hoping to deep clean rugs and carpets with the steamer soon.

Good build quality and performs well. Recommended.
This is well made and easy to use. It takes a bit over 1 liter of water (which should be distilled). This is enough for about a half hour to 45 minutes of use. Takes a few minutes to come on steam, and can only be refilled when completely cool, which takes about 20 minutes. On first starting to steam there is a bit of water mixed with the initial steam, but thereafter the steam is continuous, dry and quite forceful. It is hot. Move fairly slowly over a fabric surface, such as a mattress or couch, and it will be too hot to do more than touch briefly. I have not measured the temperature but the claim of 135C seems plausible. I have used it to deal with an insect infestation and it seems effective, though it has taken several days application once or twice a day, so do not expect miracles. Don't know about bed bugs, but it will probably deal with carpet moths, mites, pet fleas etc, the usual things that inhabit beds, rugs, carpets, couches and pet beds. It comes with four attachments, two large ones for carpets or windows, one small with a small brush head for spot (for some reason there are several of these) and a sort of medium brush with a fabric cover to fit it. I have found the window one to be the most useful for upholstery, and the small spot one for getting into folds of fabric in an upholstered chair or sofa. There is quite a long tubular lead. There are two extension pieces, useful for carpets or large bed. In use parts of the handle get hot, but not dangerously so. Changing the tool attachment is quite simple, and secure, but it will be wise to keep hands well away from the trigger while doing it, if the device is charged. Because of the heat and the pressure you need to be careful when using this, but it seems pretty safe given common sense in handling it. The potential danger is make sure that its totally discharged before opening it to refill. Don't know what the pressure is, but it seems pretty high. The reservoir cap is good quality brass threaded. The steam flow through the larger fittings is fine, continuous, forceful, plenty of it, and very hot. The spot attachment puts out quite a blast so will do a good job sterilizing crevices in a chair or sofa covering or getting into the skirting board of a fitted carpet. Not particularly cheap, but it works and works well. The cheap hand held ones by comparison are not in the same league. Don't bother with them, get this or one like it. Even hotter would be nice perhaps, but to get an industrial strength one will cost a lot more and maybe require a lot more care. This is positioned just right for an effective consumer product.

Powerful cleaner, simple to use
This was my first time using a steam cleaner of this type. Very simple to use, just fill up, wait a few mins (8 to be precise) then its literally full steam ahead. Once ready this worked consistently well for at least 50 mins There is then a short wait for it to cool before refilling, but after almost an hour of steaming I don't think that's a bad thing. Plenty of attachments and very easy to change (carefully) mid use. It effortlessly cleaned carpets, mattresses, upholstery, a very stubborn shower door and the entire inside of a car. That was all within the first two uses. For me it felt light and easy to manoeuvre, I'm not sure why I've seen reviews saying otherwise. The cube has small wheels almost completely concealed underneath which do not pivot but they run smoothly. Some initial things that detract from a full 5 stars are: There's no indicator for the water level. The instructions say 1200ml but other information indicates it may be more. I used a water bottle to be sure which is fine but and indicator would have been nice. It doesn't offer variable steam which can mean its more power than needed or may damage some surfaces. And potentially could last even longer between refills if the steam level could be lowered. There is no storage on board for attachments and the whole unit, whilst very stylish, is not tiny, so you will need space to store it all. Unfortunately mine suddenly stopped working and I had to return it. It simply stopped working and to my knowledge had no reason to do so. Once it had stopped I couldn't tell if the power switch was on or off because it's a push switch and without the light indicator it just seems the same either way. And a note about the delivery itself - it was great, took a couple of days but came when indicated. I have since tried to order an alternative brand 3 times and so far none of them has turned up!

Highly Recommended - Original York Stone Floor - Amazing Cleaner
I have an old farmhouse and four large dogs so the floor, especially after a wet winter can get really dirty. After trying various methods to get the flags like new I bought this steam cleaner. It is really amazing and so easy to use. I thing the price is very reasonable for how good this product is. Before steaming I did mop the floor lightly with a diluted solution of Stone Floor Cleaner 5 minutes before steaming. When I steamed the floor it was light and easy to do. Quite a few old rags are needed to wipe the floor as you go but there are plenty of pads and cloths that come with it so not everyone may need these. My kitchen is large and so I expected to need more. The length of the cord means it doesn't have to be constantly unplugged - it reaches everywhere. The unit holds quite a lot of water so large areas can be done at once. The smaller tools can be used to get into corners, clean the mortar in-between the flags too. On some really dirty flags - the walkways through the house - it was necessary to spend more time cleaning these but I expected this. It is a brilliant thing to have for stone floors and even got some old paint off some flags. I sealed the floor once dry and then applied a wax finish My stone floors are like new and will definitely not need to be cleaned like that again for at least a year or two. If you don't have dogs then you may never need to do it more than once! Amazing tool for original York stone floors.

superb quality
Excellent steamer- great design and the power is very good. Very hot steam and quickly heats up. Could do with a visable water level. worth the money. Easy to use and comes with easily changable ends for various uses. Also fits neatly back in its cardboard posted box which is very sturdy and gives it a nice neat home that can be stored away as its justa a cube.

Good, but not quite great
The Dupray steamer has many things going for it. Firstly it's the capacity: we needed a steamer to thoroughly clean our house and our handheld steamer was not enough for such a task as we would have to refill it every 5 minutes. The Dupray, on the other hand, seems to never run out of steam. In addition, it's also practical. The steamer sits on fairly good wheels so it's easy to move around; it comes with plenty of attachments and will still produce plenty of steam even if you have to unplug it (we needed to at some point). Enough with the positives though... Here are they main reasons why we decided to return this steamer: 1) the lance - the thing that you'll be holding in your hand most of the time - will get hot after about 5 mins of steaming. At some point it will get so hot that you'll either need to take a break or wear a glove. Traditional handheld steamers don't suffer from this problem because their handle doesn't have steam going through it, but in the case of the Dupray, there is no other option. 2) the steam doesn't feel that powerful, depending on the attachment that you use. We mainly used the small nozzle one and in some cases the steam was not powerful enough to do some simple jobs (e.g. pushing dust off some doors). 3) the window cleaner attachment was quite bad as it would leave streaks of water behind. The rubber strip touching the glass seemed to be too hard for the job. Maybe in time it would have became more malleable, but out of the box it was just bad. The attachment from our handheld steamer was orders of magnitude better i.e. would leave no streak behind. 4) If you take a short (few mins) break, while using the steamer, you will find that it can squirt a lot of water, when you start reusing it. It makes sense as steam liquifies once the hose temperature drops, but it's not a great experience and sometimes it can catch you out e.g. you want to steam something and end up splattering it. All in all, the Dupray is a good steamer, but for the money I think it has design and production flaws and I'd rather stick with the handheld one or opt for a different model.
