Works perfectly! I had never used a fruit picker before that had this chute on it. Incredibly handy, and it saves a lot of work. Normally, you have to keep bringing the fruit picker back down after one or two mangoes. With a large and full tree, that gets tiresome quickly. With this one, you just give it a little turn, and the mangoes gently slide down the chute into the bag or box at your feet! It took my son about 10 minutes to assemble it.I can’t speak yet to the durability, as I just received it yesterday and we have used it twice. If I have problems later, I’ll come back and update.

This is a awesome tool to have if you have fruit to pic...from trees and fa r safer than climbing a ladder. It is best to hold the sleeve that catches the fruit off of the ground so the fruit don't slide through and hit the ground and cause bruising. I hold it in a curved fashion to prevent this from happening

We have a very tall (30') pear tree that takes a long time each year to harvest. I thought the idea of an integrated chute seemed like a good idea to speed up the process. Because of the tree height we have a pole that's about 2' longer than the one this comes with that I was able to securely attach the basket part to. It does indeed work, and it works well. Fruits come off the tree easily and they find their way down the chute. However, my only complaint is that the chute really should be longer. Part of this is because my pole is longer, but even so, as is, fruits slam into each other inside the chute as they fall, so if they're just ripe (or overripe) they will bruise and break up. To combat this, I tried to work some slack into where the chute is held (so they slow down a bit vs falling straight) which is OK but not foolproof. In reality, I found that I had to have a helper who manned the chute, emptying it each time I got a fruit. It's still technically more efficient than lowering the basket on every pick, but not as efficient as I'd love it to be.

Bought as a gift for family. They enjoy it for their peach tree. No more ladder and I dont have to worry about them falling. PLUS he used it to help scoop the fallen peaches without hurting his knees/back.

This is a really cool, must have design. Works as described, and good quality materials. Easy pickin's!

I bought this to harvest avocados off my tree. It works wonderfully. I like being able to pick multiple fruits without having to lower the tool each time. My avocados are quite large and fit through the opening with ease. Probably wouldn't work well for something like grapefruit.

The tool is great and perfect for picking oranges. It could be a little more sturdier.

Great product. When my wife first purchased it - I was skeptical. But it works - works well - and means I can get fruit off our trees without a ladder.Would buy again!

Brilliant design, which enables you to pick those really big apples at the top of the tall trees before they smash to the ground.I’m 65+yrs and small (5ft 3in) and I have no problem using the UWM Fruit Picker. It was easy to assemble with all the parts well made with light weight strong material. I highly recommend this fruit picker

This product was awful arrived very late and was broken when arrived it has been difficult to process the refund as I don’t have a printer at home am lost to what to next. Please help me get my money back.
