Update 3/29/26 - It's a total waste. The machine cannot read the barcode correctly. Like I said, it only worked once. Even after you replace the barcode, it's still a no go. Neat idea, just needs to be more consistent. The machine doesn't like the adapter as well. I sounds like it rattles in there. Not sure if the hot water affected the pod itself and may have warped the original label. Either way, my machine is newish and I'd like to keep it that way. This was not great. As it seems to make my machine throw up errors mid brew. Not upset about it, just slightly disappointed, as I was skeptical but wanted to try it. Avoid this if you care about your machine.Original review.I have about 4 boxes of the og pods (Lavazza Super Crema) and thought to give this a swing. It worked well the first time, but after that, it hasn't worked. Haven't tried any of the included stickers since it worked right off the jump. Now it makes my VertuoPlus crash in the middle of the brewing cycle. Big red light and i was honestly concerned. Had to reset the machine and then tested a normal Vertuo pod to confirm there was no permanent damage.I'll update the review after further experimenting, but it seems like another half-baked Amazon gadget as off now.

This thing is awesome.Used it on a Starbucks espresso pod and pulled a lungo - because I picked the 150ml variant it defaults to that amount no matter what the original Nespresso pod is for. It gave almost half a cup plus delicious crema.Pulled a second cafe la llave espresso pod that was almost a year old and damaged and gave me a more flat but still delicious half a cup, not much crema.We like lungos so this was the optimal choice.This thing is an art of work in terms of fitment, almost airplane grade machining with a small translucent silicone gasket to retain the pressure between the two parts.Over all 5 stars from an experience point of view, at least for the 150ml variant. I was not expecting it to be this good based on the 4 out of 5 stars average, but glad I took a chance.Don't get me wrong there is still clean up after you are done pulling the shots, and separating the two parts with finger pressure while it's kind of warm (could probably use a fork since it's metal and the top part wouldn't impact coffee output or pressure even if scratched). Try to catch it before it falls into the vertuoline capsule bin but just a quick rinse is enough for reuse later.If the manufacturer takes advice: offer kits with all three size bottoms, or offer stickers to switch between the preferred sizes instead of 3 stickers of the same size that was supplies in the box. Also, offer a way to mag e include a minimal nylon strong or hook so it doesn't fall in to the bin if it accidentally gets picked up by the mechanism when opening the Nespresso machine covers after pulling a shot. Maybe also sell a kit with a cleaner bucket or something with diluted citric acid where we can just drop it in between uses instead of rinsing in between uses at a sink.Looking forward to quarter priced quality Nespresso original line pods when on sale now comparing to the4x the cost new vertuo pods.

This worked perfectly to convert an original pod into a Vertuo pod. I would’ve given it five stars, except there were no instructions on how to use it. At first, I thought they forgot to send the bottom part because I could not figure out how to separate the two pieces. In fact, I thought the two pieces were one piece.. Then I went to the original video and it showed me perfectly how to use it. 1.You just push the top part out. 2. Insert original pod.. 3 push the top part back on making sure it’s seated well. 4. Put it in your Vertuo machine.. it makes a perfect cup of coffee and the original pods are so much cheaper than the Vertuo pods that it will pay for the cost of the converter within a few uses.

This item worked a few times in my machine and then it failed. I bought this item because my husband mistakenly bought the original Nespresso pods for my DeLonghi machine which was an honest mistake because Amazon suggested them as a bundle item when he purchased my machine as a gift. I tried this item to see if I could still use the original pods in my machine. As suggested by another reviewer, I purchased the Reusable Nespresso Vertuo adapter for 150ml because I prefer that strength and size of coffee. It worked twice, like a charm. On the third time, the red light went on, and the machine got stuck. I needed to unplug and replug my machine to reset it and to release the reusable pod adapter. I haven’t used it again because I am afraid that it will break my machine. Now I use the RYXANFYZ reusable pod adapter instead. I just cut the original pod top and place the coffee in this reusable pod and it works great! (See my review for this item).

Works great but rather difficult to use for the first time. There are directions but Amazon decided to cover it with bar code sticker. However, another reviewer gave great instructions so that helped. Thank you!!!! Once i figured it out, it worked good
