Very good bread knife but too short for my loafs. So I bought a bread knife with a 12 inch blade. I was going to send back the shorter knife but it worked so well and it was so inexpensive, I decided to keep it. Smart choice. It works very well on tomatoes, onions, peppers and narrow bread (like baguettes) So now it's the little brother to its big brother with the 12 inch blade.

I bought this bread knife mainly for slicing homemade sourdough, and it has worked very well. The serrated edge is sharp and cuts through crusty bread cleanly without crushing the loaf. The knife feels balanced and comfortable to hold, and it makes it much easier to get even slices. I’ve also used it for other breads and it performs consistently well. The blade is sharp right out of the box, so you do need to be a bit careful at first, but that’s exactly what you want in a good bread knife. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable knife that does the job perfectly. I’m very happy with it.

OMG, I was eyeing a more expensive brand and saw this and took a chance buying it. I am impressed by its performance. It's lightweight, comfortable and versatile. I obviously use it for breads and also ripe tomatoes, lettuces...anything delicate so you don't squish them. It's sharp, easy to clean, use and has a slim profile. I thought I'd end up getting a dollar store knife but this thing looks more mid-tier. It's stored next to all my Wusthofs.
