Perfect solution
I bought an off grid solar kit for my summerhouse and wanted somewhere to put the power unit. Rather than just put up a shelf I decided a wooden crate would be ideal. I searched for ages for one that was the correct dimensions and found the medium one of these was perfect. I've put the small one up as well as an additional 'shelf unit'.The duck egg blue matches the table and chairs so an added bonus.The paint that others were disappointed in is great too; shabby chic. Yes it's only soft wood nailed together and the blue water based paint is merely a wash rather than a solid colour but what do you expect for the price.

These look fabulous. I have deducted one star as the strip under the black panel on the largest box is split.

Meh - rougher than they look
Quite tatty so make sure that is the look you want. They look A lot cheaper and rougher than in the photos in real life.Also having ordered 4 sets only 3 are actually painted the right colour. One set received is white, 3 in the duck egg blue. Not sure what to do as a pain to return and they would all look a lot better if sanded and repainted properly.
