I am a travel nurse and I live out of furnished finders when working. When I had to find housing last minute after a terrible experience with a landlord, I found a listing for an older home that had been remodeled and it looked very nice in pictures and in person. It wasn’t until after I signed my lease and moved in when I realized that the house did not have a central HVAC system. This was because of the age of the house. The only thing that heated and cooled the house was a wall unit that worked fairly well, however, a winter storm hit and frigid, “ arctic”, temps came quick. The wall unit could not keep up and kept going into “defrost mode” and when it did this the house got cold quick. I began looking for heaters, I wasn’t a fan of the thought of depending on one because I know they can be dangerous. I ran across the Dreo brand and saw that they had many positive reviews and features I was looking for. Auto shut off if the unit was tipped over, thermostat control, oscillating, remote controlled. I caved and bought this model for the living room area, and two smaller models, one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. When they came I was shocked at how small they were and was skeptical about if they would even be worth it. These heaters are small, but the heat and power they put out is not and they do a very quiet job of it too. So quiet that I at first didn’t even know if it was on and blowing until I felt the air myself. They not only keep the house warm in addition with the wall unit running, but I have noticed I don’t have to run the wall unit as much, it takes the work load off from it, and I’ve even had multiple times where I have had to turn the heaters off because the house gets too warm. Another feature I like that I didn’t realize they all had was that I can switch them over to just a regular fan mode and it circulates the air. Very nice, very powerful, and very nice looking as well. I highly recommend this brand. They saved me and my pups from freezing to death this winter.

Omgsh, this is the best space heater I've ever had! Not even a contest! I've had it for about a month now. This seems to work differently than other space heaters I've had. It is moving warm air within about 2 seconds, so it's hot almost instantly. And the heat moves a good 5 feet away from the unit, yet is nearly silent. No loud electronic sounds or sounds of blowers. Heating up the bathroom on cold mornings takes only a couple of minutes which took much longer with other space heaters. And this unit includes a FAN ONLY mode, which is also perfect for helping to air out steamy bathrooms quickly after a shower. The high reviews were right about this one and now I can add my 5-star review to the stack. I recommend this unit and I hope you are as happy with it as I am. This is a keeper!

The Dero Solaris Slim H2 is an awesome little space heater. It’s whisper quiet—you can barely tell it’s running, even on higher settings. For its slim size, it puts out a surprising amount of heat and warms up the room fast without taking up much space. It’s also packed with useful features and feels well designed and easy to use. Powerful, quiet, and compact—exactly what I was looking for.

Even at higher settings it runs quietly, making it great for nighttime use or while working. The thermostat and timer functions are straightforward, and I appreciate the built-in safety features like tip-over protection and automatic shut-off. If I had to point out a drawback, I’d say the power cord could be a bit longer, and the highest setting draws enough power that you’ll want to make sure it’s on its own outlet. Not deal-breakers, but worth noting. Overall, a reliable and efficient heater that delivers on what it promises. Perfect for bedrooms, offices, and smaller living areas—especially if you want warmth without noise.

I bought the heater to help warm my ground level master bedroom which is difficult to keep at a comfortable temperature without running the heating system non-stop. The system in my three-level condo was apparently designed by a toddler -- the thermostat is in the hallway with the stairs that go all the way to the loft, so the heat in the hallway just rises, keeping the hallway and ground level cool and the loft toasty. With this heater, I can turn off the thermostat in the hallway and keep the master bedroom door closed, allowing the bedroom to warm to a comfortable level with a minimum of energy use. The heater is smaller than I expected from the picture. Of course the dimensions are given in the product description and are accurate, but I somehow expected it to be similar in size to my air purifier, which is nearly twice as tall. It's not an issue, but I was surprised how small the box was that Amazon delivered, and thought I might have received the wrong item until I opened the box. Speaking of the box and packaging, I like that it was pretty basic and not intended for retail display, without pictures or glossy cardboard -- just a brown cardboard box with two moulded cardboard inserts that hold the heater at both ends of the cylinder to prevent contact damage inside the slightly oversized box. Feature-wise, I can't think of anything that I would want that the heater doesn't have. Easy and accurate temperature control, different power settings to minimize energy usage, an oscillating feature which helps heat large spaces more evenly, and best of all a remote control so you don't have to get out of bed to make changes. The design is modern and pleasing, the white LEDs turn off when the heater shuts down (it's amazing how annoyingly bright small LEDs can be at night in a bedroom), and the noise level is fairly low -- not as quiet as my air purifier on its lowest fan speed, but the heater moves quite a bit more air and will shut down when the target temperature has been reached. There was some smell when I first turned the heater on which reminded me of a soldering iron, but that went away quickly. The warranty is also generous at five years. Overall, the heater is highly recommended.

I bought three of these and a smaller Dreo. All of them work great, better than any space heater I've ever used. They were life savers during the recent two week cold spell where the rental house wouldn't warm above the 40's. The range of options on how to run these heaters might explain some of the problems users have reported. You can choose to run them constantly or you can set them to use a thermostat. I have bought a half dozen of Consumer Reports top-rated space heaters over the years but none were as quiet or powerful as these.

This is a very nice little heater. It’s easy to use and reasonably priced. It warms up a fair size room quickly.

I have two of these and for the most part I haven't had any issues with either one. That being said, there are a couple things I did not like..you have to click on it twice to get it to go back and forth, side to side. Also, if you decide to change the temperature then you need to go through that whole process all over again. And, sometimes it stops moving side to side for no reason. Also, it is always either too hot or too cold. The remote does not work real good you have to get fairly close to it and do many clicks to get it to work but the Heater works great. I've had many space heaters & they usually quit working or they catch on fire, I mean there's all kinds of things that can go wrong and I haven't had any of this with these 2 heaters so I don't feel like these issues are too major. One more thing, many people don't like the 30 second turn off switch. If you just click it two more times it will turn off right away. That is a fan that cools the unit down after you have used it, it's not the heater running for 30 more seconds like these reviewers think

Ik gebruik de kachel om met thuiswerken mijn werkkamer op 19 graden te houden, dit werkt prima. Het is fijn dat je gewoon een temperatuur kan instellen en hij alleen verwarmt tot die temperatuur bereikt is. De power consumptie is wel redelijk aan de hoge kant maar dat is te verwachten met een elektrische kachel. Ik heb expres dit groter model gepakt omdat hij dezelfde consumptie heeft als de kleinere variant maar met een grotere kamer staat hij dan ook minder lang aan.

So if you want a "ceramic electrical heater that works" look no further !! We ordered 1 at first so we didn't need to worry about returning 2 items if the heaters turned out to be junk. We will gladly be ordering another one of the Dreo Space Heaters.. This Dreo pumps out the heat like crazy!! Its built in shut off safety features are great if you have pets or distracted people walking around.. Some people complain about the smell and truth be told its not that bad. Its NORMAL for any heater to give off fumes when its new!!. After about 5-7 minutes of run time the fumes already began dissipating.. Open a window if the smell bothers you for the first time you start the heater.. "Stars 5/5, & highly recommended !!

Le radiateur et les matériaux semblent de qualité. Plus grand que d'autres chauffages céramique, du coup la ventilation est très correcte, tout en restant relativement discrète. Le câble d'alimentation est plus grand que sur d'autres produits concurrents ~1m70 /1m80. Seul bémol, la minuterie va d'heures en heures. impossible dans une salle de bain de le faire s'arrêter après 15mn
