Tasty easy to make.
Nice to make for leisurely breakfast or elevenses . About 2/3 the size of shop bought, ready-made ones would put in oven for 1 extra minute next time and also they did brown well and evenly without milk or egg wash but am thinking would give a more "shiny" finish if you did do so as although they do brown well, they come out of the oven matt rather than shiny on top if unglazed. I usually buy couple of these to have it in my fridge, when I am tired to make complicated breakfast. I just bake these. 12 minutes and I have ready chocolate croissant. Great product.

Unbeatable for the price
Really nice pain-au-chocolat at a reasonable price. The baking instructions on the package are not optimal, in my experience, they need to be baked for 20 mins at 180C in a fan oven rather than just 12 mins as instructed on the package. Also, for best taste and nice golden-brown looks, glazing with whisked egg yields best results.

Not great
Not sure if they have changed the recipe but they no longer divide very well and over stretch. They taste the same but the overall shape and size is a bit off and it made it tricky to use.
